Not Mush-room!

As you may know we have been to several places lately and seen lots of fungi around.

I have had these mushroom napkins for a while now and thought they would add some extra texture on my page!

I used lots of stencils(mainly Aall and Create), either with ink or texture paste, along with parts of stamps, washi-tapes and some words from various sources! I pushed some of the tissue away from the bases of the mushrooms to extend their stalks.

I'm entering at Jo's Texture theme at Art Journal Journey
More Mixed Media Challenge - optional Brown

Thanks for looking, Chris

Mushroom are perfect for autumn and late summer. All your texture and details work really well with this napkin image. I do like those stenciled designs in the background. This is a great page for AJJ. Thanks for linking up. And I saw your answer and left my response also. Happy rest of your weekend. Hugs-Erika

Stunning page! I love how you used the stencils, texture paste and inks for the background and the way the texture paste shows through the napkin image of those beautiful mushrooms - perfect 😀. The photos are fabulous too, we've been seeing some beautiful fungi on our walks of late. Wishing you a happy weekend! Take care! Hugs, Jo x

I am using my neighbor Sally's computer, so I must keep this brief. My internet appears to be fine, but my power supply cord has gone bad, at least that is what my computer guru friend Scott thinks. He will try to get a new one for me in town on Monday. If not, he will buy one at Amazon.

Wow Chris, you put a lot into this, dear. I love it. Those mushrooms are amazing the way you did this. The layers and layers and texture makes this wonderful. Thanks for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey, dear.
