Inspired by.....

Hi everyone, there's a new theme at Try It On Tuesday - 'Inspired By A Song'. You will find some inspiration from the Design Team here.

I hope you can tell that I used Prince's 'Purple Rain' as My inspiration for this journal page.

I used The Artistic Stampers Dahlia stamps designed by Sarah Anderson and used masks to create a group of them and a rain drop stamp from a set that has lost it's packaging. The background stamps are from stamps I have bought on visits to France.I used watercolours to colour the image.

It's Colourful!

 Hi everyone! Our new theme at Try It On Tuesday is 'Make It Colourful', you can get those crayons, paints or markers out and go ever so slightly colour crazy (if you want to!) I love seeing how the use of a stamp can be changed just with a choice of colour. 

I have used some Paper Artsy stamps and stencils designed by lovely Kate Crane. 

The background is made of some torn up gelli prints and some of Kate's art mark stamps. The figures and the bird were coloured with a combination of Derwent and Faber Castell Albrecht Duhrer watercolour pencils. I drew a frame around the edge of my page.
