Magical Garden

I have made a journal page with intention of joining some challenges - both have inspired me and I think they have combined well.

My page was sprinkled with Infusions - Royal Blood and Lemoncello and spritzed! I stamped the Elenazinkiart flower and gave it a Carabelle Studios ground along with some hanging vines and grasses(also EZ stamps) - suitably tropical do you think? I used a combination of Fresco paints, Oxide inks and Distress crayons to colour my images.
We went to see Kong Island the other week - not usually my kind of film but the scenery was fantastic! I would love to visit such a place but fear that I would be a little scared! I have used a Carabelle studios figure to represent myself - I am hoping I have a good camouflage outfit on but ….oops! I am wearing red earrings(just for the record - I don't usually wear earrings at all)

You may have guessed which challenges I am joining….

Thirty days of artmarks….

I would like to welcome my newest followers AussieAnnie, Karen (Lunagirl), Elke(I can't find link for Elke), Cheetarah and Stephanie and probably a few more who I haven't mentioned - I realised that my followers list has grown considerably  - if I have missed you off it certainly doesn't mean that I don't appreciate your support!
Once again I am a little behind with commenting too, please forgive me!!

I have been finding some time to play - I am joining in with Rae Missigman's 30day artmarks challenge.I missed joining in the last one so was already with my little journal this time - here are the first 3 pages…I have used a 4 x 4inch journal
Day 1 and the prompt was 'clustered'- I used the flowers from a Woodware stamp to make eggs.
Day 2 - the prompt was 'repeating'- Elenazinskiart leaves on a background made with Oxide inks, deli paper sprinkled with Infusions and lots of repeated paint and pen marks
Day 3 - the prompt was 'layered' -this was going fine, with lots of layering of stencils and stamps - until I stamped the flowers - made a complete hash and had to stamp and cut out more flowers - fortunately I had some under paper with splashes of oxides on it!
Day 4 - the prompt was 'stacked' I used watercolours on the paper then used one of my old masterboards with a few more marks added. I cut a section up into strips, jumbled them and stacked them in a heap.
So much litter seems to be spread around these days - our journey up the motor way would be so much prettier if only folk didn't throw their rubbish out of car windows or ..worse still….fly tip!!! There…rant over!!

I am using Instagram (chrisxpear)to publish my pages daily but will be keeping up to date here on my blog when I can!

Thanks for looking, Chris
