Seeds and snowdrops

Hi everyone, at last I find time to post!! I have been really struggling to get comments to publish or even access sometimes - even when I have made comments on the same blog!

I have a few journal pages ready and I am still trying to use my stamp stash in chronological order.

I am joining in at Art Journal Journey where Bleubeard and Elizabeth are hosting with 'What's Your Style?'

This time I am using a favourite set from Elusive Image (now known as Chocolate Baroque)

I used an acrylic block to add lots of different coloured inky splodges. I stamped one full image, then the text stamp, then part of the first image. I stamped the poppy seed heads onto some tea stained paper and fussy cut the heads and leaves so that they showed up more.

I used some sequin waste to add a few dots then spattered some black ink.

The quote came from a magazine.

We went for a drive into Wales last week and had a walk around Erddig.

The main attraction at the moment are the snowdrops

Canada Geese
Surprised to see marigold flowers all around rthe car park.....
...as well as lots of trees with huge bunches of mistletoe

Thanks for looking, Chris

That's a great page Chris. I like how you used those stamps, and I like the stamps too. I wonder why Google is being such a pain in the you know where. I no longer get links in my email. And flowers in February. I am jealous. Have a great new week. Hugs-Erika

I have been unable to comment on some blogs lately, too. :( They must have "updated" something again. Grrr!

I like the muted colors on your page. Wow, I've never seen so many snow drops. My parents had a tiny clump in their garden.

I've had trouble with leaving comments at times, too. I usually get an Error 503 message. I hope Blogger figures this out soon.

I love your journal page. i espcially like the text. It is wonderful, but I like all those stamps. I like the way you put them together, too. Thanks for sharing this page with us at Art Journal Journey using Bleubeard's and my theme.

I was impressed with the mistletoe on those trees, the snowdropsm and the marigolds. Thanks for sharing then with us, dear friend.

A great journal page Chris and good to see more of your stamp collection.
I think many of us are having issues with the system just now.
The snowdrops looked beautiful, Spring must be on its way.
Stay safe.
