T Stands For Taking A Walk Or Two

Hi everyone, the weather picked up last week, well, slightly warmer and a few outbreaks of sun at least!

We took the opportunity to get out and about locally.

Fletcher Moss is a favourite of ours and not far from home.

The show of Spring flowers has begun

There was less on show at The Carrs when we took a walk before doing our shopping last week.

We watched a tree creeper go up this tree but my phone camera missed it - I'll get hubby to check whether he got it and try to show you next week
I was quite excited to see the Hawthorn leaves forming shoots.....
...and catkins

Can you see a Rhino here is it only me?

Today we took ourselves off to Lyme Park
Only a few photos here - there will be more next week

The geese were being really noisy.
Afterwards we went to a nearby garden centre where we had free coffee each and a cake(of course) We had had light lunch so I allowed myself a whole shortcake swirl - I haven't had one of these for years and it...was...delicious!
I am joining Bleubeard and Elizabeth at The Altered Book Lover for T Stands for Tuesday with a smiling hubby and our coffee and cakes(his favourite carrot cake)
Thanks for looking, Chris

With 4 or so inches of snow today, your garden photos are a welcome sight. I don't think I've ever seen so many crocus. I saw the rhino! Your cakes look so good, too. Happy T Day

Beautiful shots of spring emerging! The crocuses are my favorite along with the tree fungus. Yum, carrot cake sounds like a yummy pick but your cake looks pretty as well.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate

Carrot cake is my favorite, too. I bet it went well with his coffee. I've never heard of shortcake swirl, but it looks decadent.

I really enjoyed your walk around Fletcher Moss. Spring really HAS taken off in your world. Such pretty spring flowers, too.

Thanks for sharing your walks, the loud geese I couldn't hear, and your cakes and coffee with us for T this Tuesday, dear Chris.
