Take to the skies

The other week we were catching up with our Wanderlust 2021 classes

The lesson by Kasia showed us how to paint skies - well, perfect for my 'All Kinds Of Weather' theme at Art Journal Journey theme I thought, so here is the page I made

I made a cloudy sky and a sunset like the ones we used to get at our caravan. The envelope has birds on it and I carried the birds over to the other page. I am going to add some photos of our caravan skies to it

Hubby made a page too

We both enjoyed this lesson but we are still on catch up.

Thanks for looking,Chris

This class sounds fantastic and just what I would like to learn. I like looking at both yours and the hubby's. I really think you caught the feel for them. I especially like the envelope with all the birds and the clouds. Just a touch of blue. It looks like a photo until your see the edges of the envelope. Happy new week Chris. Hugs-Erika

What a fabulous two-fer. They are both really lovely and do look like beautiful clouds and gorgeous skies. These are such great examples of your theme, Chris. Clouds make such great visual pleasure. I love them both. Thanks for sharing them with us at Art Journal Journey, dear friend.

You both did good! Love these pages. I need to begin the courses, won't have any time until after Christmas, then I'm looking up this lesson first! XOX

Your painted skies rival the photographs. I especially love the decorated envelopes.
