Very late - but lots of faces!

Hi everyone, I had a delay in making my calendar journal pages (had to write everything down in my notebook) as the art book I had has different (inferior) paper than it used to. I finally located one and set to making my spread - then totally forgot to post it.

I had Erika's 'Lets Face It' theme at Art Journal Journey in mind so there are lots of Paper Artsy Lynne Perrella stamps. The background was made by adding Dina Wakley paint with a baby wipe

Here is December's filled in.

We don't usually go out much on Saturdays - usually just a walk down to the butchers - today we didn't want any meat and intended staying in. This afternoon we looked at the sun shining outside and went for a walk along by the River Mersey

Wishing you all a happy weekend.
Thanks for looking, Chris

I love the new calendar Chris. Adding the white to those ladies on the bottom right gives them "quite" the look. I like it, and it looks like a fun calendar to use, and it looks like you had a beautiful late day walk. It's nice you don't have snow or ice. Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend. Thanks for sharing your calendar with us at AJJ. hugs-Erika

You have such an inviting place to walk, and to have a butcher within easy walking distance sounds like you live in a truly walkable community.

Love the new pages with the faces Chris - love the eyes and the whole feel. Always impressive to see the previous month all filled in too. Fab pictures of your walk.

Our closest butcher is 11 miles away so that would be a long walk....lol - jealous yours is in walking distance and you have the pretty river close by. We actually have a creek bordering on our property, but the snakes, bugs, and trees prevent a walk along it. Lovely post. Hugz
