It's time for a new theme at Art Journal Journey. This time Valerie takes on the role of host with her 'When One Door Closes Another Opens' theme.
It's one I am going to enjoy.
Thanks to everyone who contributed to my theme last month.
I had a mop up page from spritzing a stencil and the Aall and Create door stamp by Bipasha seemed to be what it needed.
I added some random dots and text and after stamping the door added some brick like texture stamping. The quote was taken from the Internet and put into Printshop to alter the type.
The page was outlined with three colours of fineliners.
Thanks for looking, Chris

I love that door, what a great page.
OMGoodness, Chris. What an amazing first entry for Valerie's theme. I can't believe you have a door stamp. I'm so amazed and believe that you must have a stamp for just about anything and everything. Love the quote, the background, and of course, that door. Great job for Valerie's theme at AJJ, Chris.
Fabulous page Chris, and I love the quote you used! The scene is beautiful! Hugs, Valerie
This is a great door Chris. What a nice stamp. And that quote is fantastic. This page is perfect for day 1 of December at AJJ. Can you believe it? Have a great start to the new month. Hugs-Erika

Lovely page, lovely door Chris. I do like Bipasha's work and you have used this stap so well. The additional dots and the border really bring it to the forefront.
Hugs, Neet xx
A nice journal page with the door, so romantic, I love your creativity! I wish you a wonderful winter time, hugs, Elke

A fabulous page Chris and I do love the quote you used.

Really pretty page and I have a stamp with that same quote, minus an attribution, as I suspect he was simply repeating what his sotted out old brain remembered fragments of what someone else said. I should confess I'm more of a Lionel B. fan, lol. xoxo
Chris, this is fabulous! Great image and great words and then your mop up/color placement is perfect. The page has a happy and fun feeling. Love it!!!! Hugz
Wonderful one! So positive and the quote is great, too!
