WOYWW - 622

Hi everyone, it's a little while since I last showed my desk. It's not that there's a lot going on here though, and a lot that is must still remain secret!

What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday, if you don't know is where lots of lovely folk share exactly what is on their desk every Wednesday, all hosted by the lovely Julia Dunnit at The Stamping Ground blog.

What I have on my desk is a journal page started this morning...and not touched since...it's been day of phone calls and Wanderlust pages (which hubby and I are both doing)

I added some Brushed Corduroy Distress ink and water. The rest will be completed later today and will probably have a Paris theme.

The stamp you see on the left is by a French company - Choux & Flowers that I bought the last time we were in Paris for the Version Scrap craft show.

I am crossing my fingers that we can visit Paris before the end of the year.

Thanks for looking, Chris

I think it's lovely that you've both embraced Wanderlust this year - good value for money, too!! I do think it seems to have been better than previous years (probably means I'll get sucked in again next time!!) good to see you on the desks! Helen #4

Great your desk where you realize all the beautiful ideas, because I would like to let off steam with all the things. I'm curious what will come of it with your started journal page. hug Elke

Looking forward to seeing your journal page finished. Your desk is much tidier than mine, which looks like a council tip just now! Have a great day, hugs, Valerie

Wonder where you are going with that page?
Hope you two get to visit Paris soon, as much for the descriptive journey we will take when you get back as you going. I always enjoy reading your trip journals.
Hugs, Neet xx7

There are so many materials I don´t know, at first I thought that is gesso!
I have but a small table and have to put everything away each time, not fun...
You asked how I do burn 3000+ calories a day, here goes: With Detlef Soost-DVDs! He is fun, motivates and you dance it simply away with good music, have a look here - you don´t need to speak German, he demonstrates what to do and then you dance, give it a go! Irisx

The beginning of that page looks absolutely gorgeous, Chris. Much as I love really bright colours, I also adore browns and neutrals! Looking forward to seeing how the page develops. How nice that you and your hubby are both doing Wunderlust.

Happy belated WOYWW,

Great to see you Chris! Love the ‘last time we were in Paris’, such an indication of intent! Also, the slightly prepared journal page is a lot less threatening to me than the white unstated version. This doesn’t mean I’m able to make a journal, but it does mean I know I could actually look at a blank page without running away screaming!

Great to see you again! Smooshing Distress Oxides is one of my most favourite techniques for using mixed media on my scrapbook pages. Late to the party this week - stay safe and keep smiling, Lisa-Jane #8

I haven't got brushed corduroy, I thought I had, but it appears I've doubled up again and bought a colour I already had. Will have to look back here later to see what you've done with that page, you could do anything really! (apart from spilling your coffee over it!) Oh! Thank you! I've now remembered why I had an old tea-towel in my craftroom! Actually that made a lovely splattering on some watercolouring paper I had out, so I will definitely be back later, if not sooner as I'm running late! Keep Crafting! Stay safe and Happy WOYWW!?((Lyn))#6

Still trying to catch up with my commenting! Yesterday was Mother's Day here in Australia so after a lovely lunch and lots of fizz I didn't get anything else done...

That's a good start to your journal page!
How are you getting on with Wanderlust? I find some pages so much more appealing than others...

Happy Woyww!
