Hi everyone, I'm really enjoying these longer days, although it doesn't always mean I get more done!
First though, I have made a tag for Tag Tuesday - I missed a few this year already so I'm getting in on the first day of the Wendy's new theme - Bees.
I used some designer paper that hadn't been put away, stamped some hexagons and stencilled a large one using Wild Honey DI and then stamped bees all over using Vintage Photo DI. I added a TH hexagon die painted in gold to represent honeycomb, and a bee stamped with black Versafine onto some old book paper. Finally I edged the tag with gold paint. We managed to go for a longer walk last Thursday, I finally feel that I can manage it.
We went to Fletcher Moss again and took one of the paths that goes through the woods.
It was lovely to see the Horse Chestnut leaves appearing
We walked along by the Poplar trees..
...and looked back - one or two folk around.
We continued on our way...
..spotted quite a few of the daffodil clumps growing.
We reached the river, looking in the direction of home around a mile away and were pleased we had come in our car! The path looked quite busy.

There weren't so many people in the woods
Lots of Celandines here though
We did step off the path when we did have to cross paths with someone, which meant I got this great close up. Don't know what it is yet!

This tree was watching us!
We went past a couple of swampy areas
A beautiful view of the blossom over the field.....
.......so, why would someone want to spoil this area? Surely if they carried it there they could have carried the packing away much more easily!!!
More boggy areas.
Some parts so boggy that built a walkway
They are constructing a wheelchair friendly garden
This week there were lots of Snakeshead Fritillaries out.
We walked past the back of the cafe(not open yet but the trucks were still there )
We sat with this view so that we could join Bleubeard and Elizabeth and T stands For Tuesday with our cappuccinos and a shared banana and walnut slice!
Finally, we completed week 13 of Wanderlust - a real challenge this time and it didn't really feel like as much fun as previous lesson!
The lesson was easy to follow but.....not so very inspiring at all!
Thanks for looking, Chris

What an incredible post, Chris. That's a great tag. It's a real beauty. Bees are so important, and I'm glad you shared this.
You got some beautiful shots from Fletcher Moss. It shows how spring is starting to blossom there. Lots of incredibly green grass, too. So sad about the trash. I can see leaving the fruit, because birds and animals can feast on them, but the plastic is just offensive.
It's wonderful they are creating a garden that is wheelchair friendly. That will help add visitors AND volunteers.
Too bad you two didn't care for the Wanderlust project. I thought both projects looked good, but I don't draw.
Loved the view you had while eating and drinking your cappuccinos and your cake. They both look great. I want the coffee sleeves (grin). Thanks for sharing your walk through Fletcher Moss, your tag, your Wanderlust lessons, and your cake and drinks with us for T this Tuesday, dear friend.
Luv your bee tag
Muchđź’›love
What a great post Chris. Well except for the trash on your walk. I agree. If you carried in why not carry out? It looks like such a beautiful place to walk. Loving the bee tag and your class page. Your husband really captured the tiger. It sounds like you had a wonderful T day, and I hope your week goes well. Hugs-Erika
I think you did a wonderful job on your journal and your bee tag. It is so nice you were able to take such a lovely walk. Thanks for sharing with us. Happy T Day!
Fantastic journal work, and a wonderful tag for Tag Tuesday, thanks so much for joining Wendy's challenge. You had a great walk again, and you chose a beautiful spot to eat your cake and drink your coffee. I never understand why people don't take their rubbish with them when they eave, same here! Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie
I love your bee tag, so appropriate for the season. Your walk looks delightful even with the trashy leavings. Some people are thoughtless beyond hope, I think. I'm enjoying my coffee as I look at your lovely view. Happy T Day!
Great tag Chris! That looks like a lovely walk. xx
The tag is lovely. You have walked at Fletcher Moss before, but it amazes me how different it always looks. Spring is so much further ahead. Some of those flowers are so unusual. Too bad about the Litter Bugs. My favorite photo is the door with the pots displayed on the steps. So very welcoming. Looks like you did an A+ job with your lesson, too. Happy T Day
Your tag is bee-utiful--LOL! A lovely walk--except for the people who leave trash around. I will never understand, to be honest, how people can disrespect like that.
I am months behind on Wanderlust but I do watch every Friday and that class didn't seem as good as most of them. I am hoping to get back to normal here by May. Fingers crossed.
Have a super day! Best to you both. :)
Love your bee tag Chris- reminder for me to get one done for next week;) Beautiful photos of your walk- with that one exception- really why DO some people feel the need to litter such a beautiful outdoor public space!!
Again, both you and hubby did a great job with your Wanderlust lesson and came up with wonderful art even though the lesson itself wasn't so inspiring. Belated T Day wishes!
Thank you for taking me on a walk again. I loved every minute of it. Looking at that grey sky it must have been very cold.
I love the fritillaries. But didn't like the rubbish either that people had left behind. It makes me cross. It doesn't take much effort to take it home.
Your cappuccinos look delicious. And I would gladly have a bite out of that cake...
Belated happy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca
Chris your tag and artwork at really good, I love the colour of your tag with the bees.
I enjoyed the walk, lovely scenery and flowers, such a shame that some people leave litter, it doesn’t take much to take it home or to a bin, it happens here too.
Your coffee and cake look tasty
Belated T Day

Pretty bee tag. I know you said you didn't enjoy your Wanderlust lesson but I LOVE how they both turned out, especially the tiger. My daughter LOVES tigers and I am always looking for cool tiger prints/pictures. Yours are so colorful and artistic. I know I said it last week, but I love that you and your hubby are doing this together.
Loving your snapshots from your walk. The line of horse chesnuts is so lovely! I agree that the trash detracts from the beauty. Why must people litter? How hard is it to pick it up?
Happy Tea DAy, now Thursday,
Kate
Lovely bee tag for my theme on Tag Tuesday, love the die cut. Great photos from your walk. I haven't done Wanderlust for a few years, I wasn't very keen on a lot of the lessons and therefore didn't get very far.
Thank you for sharing with us on Tag Tuesday.
Hugs Wendy
Such fun to share your adventure in photos and as someone who may end up in a wheelchair one day, the new garden is a great idea. I need to thank you for reminding me I have the TH honeycomb die. I had totally forgotten. Lovely tag you made with it. And I love y'alls Wanderlust pages, especially yours, Chris. The righthand side of it ROCKS! XOX
Love your tag.
