T Stands for....the last visit to Kew and more...

Although December has seemed like quite a long month for me the year has really flown by!
First another journal page - for Art Journal Journey and Yvonne's Words and Numbers theme

Lots of layers of stencilling, spattering and stamping, but wasn't sure where to go next - a Jane Davenport girl and a Dina Wakley quote to the rescue!

It doesn't seem so long since we visited Kew at the end of October

As I am joining Bleubeard and Elizabeth for T Stands for Tuesday I am going back just a few weeks when we visited Kendal - we love  Brew Brothers both for food and their coffee!
I chose a veggie burger but then only ate half of the bun, hubby helped me out there and also with most of the chips(fries)
We visited Sandside too, it was rather a dismal afternoon but we spotted some birds flying in - they gave a great display of flying around in a group with more adding to the group but we thought they were too big for starlings!

They landed on the sand and hubby's zoom lens picked up that they were my favourite Lapwings!! We had no idea that they flew in this way!
Just had to add a shot of our caravan in October.

Thanks for looking and I wish everyone here at TSFT a Happy New Year! Chris

Beautiful gardens Chris, I enjoyed the other photos too with the birds and the property at your caravan-what awesome views there.
that is a huge hamburger I would not have been able to finish it.
Pretty journal page.

Your page is great Chris. I just love that textured background. And that glass at Kew is amazing. What a great place to visit. And I must say the fog and the gloom and the flock of birds is really atmospheric and beautiful. I enjoyed your photos today. Have a happy T Day and a wonderful New year also. Hugs-Erika

Your journal entry is beautiful. I like the background you created. It is great. I love the soft colors. You finished this in a lovely and delicate way, Most impressive and a great entry for Yvonne's theme at Art Journal Journey, too.

It's a bit weird seeing the Chihuly glass, since I'm so used to seeing Kew from Helen's eyes and camera. I'm truly glad you shared these, though. It's always good to see Kew through someone else's eyes. Beautiful shots, too.

Those birds are amazing. Very atmospheric as Erika pointed out. The mist added to the drama of the shots, too. I know you9 are going to miss that view from the caravan. I hope you two have resolved the selling of your lot, though.

What a huge veggie burger. My mouth isn't that large. The onion rings and the fries looked like my kind of fare, but I wouldn't pass up a veggie burger. I also spotted a coffee (Americano, probably), too. Thanks for sharing your journal page, your trip to Kew, your bird photos, and your burger and coffee with us for T this Tuesday, dear friend.

Beautiful page, I love all the texture that you created in the background 😁. Kew gardens is a wonderful place and all those glass sculptures and adornments are amazing! That burger looks so delicious too - yum 😉. Wishing you a very happy T Day and all the best for 2020, may it be filled with peace, love and happiness! Hugs, Jo x

The Gardens are beautiful! That looks like such a gray day on the shore, but the birds sound like an excitement :) So many of them! I'd've been cutting that burger in half lol, but it looks delicious. Happy New Year's Eve to you and yours, and Happy T Tuesday!

Wonderful page and thought, Chris. That's exactly what we do in mixed media journaling, isn't it? Turn mistakes into beauty.

Birds flying like that are fascinating. I wonder what other species fly like starlings and why the word "murmuration" only apples to starlings. We see bird flying like that here, but I have no idea what they are.

Those sculptures are fabulous. I love the white lily pad one.

Happy T-day and a very Happy New Year! Eileen xx

The garden photos are amazing. Some of those plants are real alien looking and just gorgeous. Though the gardens are beautiful, my favorite spot would have been the beach no matter the weather. Incredible that the birds can fly in that large flock and no collisions. Here’s wishing you another year of amazing travels (I love the armchair trips),, health, and creativity. Happy New Year

Stunning layers in your background, and I think that dreamy JD girl was just the right way to go. Lovely to catch up with your Kew visit too - after seeing them over at Helen's for so long, it's hard to believe the Chihulys are no longer there! I'm still in Christmas hibernation (don't come out fully until after 12th Night on 6th January!), but am trying to do a bit of catching up with people even so. Happy New Year!

Oh that is a truly beautiful page!
Your veggie burger sure is a whopper!
I love those sculptures among the flowers and plants at Kew. Stunning.
Birds flying in what seems like a morphing cloud are awesome to watch. I have seen starlings do that and it is movingly beautiful. So the lapwings must have been really special too.
Happy New Year and
A belated Happy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca
