Bird rivals

Hi everyone, we seem to have had a lot of time away from home recently. We have had trips out, we have been shopping and trying to get the doctor and the pharmacy to get me the correct glucose testing strips - I had two days when I couldn't test as they gave me the wrong ones. Fortunately all sorted now. My blood sugar had been returning to normal following the Covid then a UTI, and fortunately still is going down.

I have made an art journal page based on one of my favourite pages from Wanderlust 2021.

I used different papers covered with gesso for my background. I used die cuts and book illustrations for my images. The labels are Darkroom Door stamps.

Here is the page I made for Wanderlust last year.

I am of course joining in at Art Journal Journey and Matildes's 'Birds' theme.

Thanks for looking, Chris

Beautiful bird pages. Like looking at an Audubon bird classification book. Glad to hear you're feeling better. Enjoy the weekend.

These are super bird pages, both of them Chris.I think the new page is perfect for Matilde's challenge, but how could it not be with those birds? And I'm glad to hear you blood sugar is dropping. Have a lovely weekend. Hugs-Erika

I'm glad the blood sugar levels are moderating. Being able to track it yourself is a great help. I like your bird spread.

I enjoyed looking at your birds. I like the way you left a little white line around the one when you cut it out.

Sorry you are still not well. I love both these spreads. They are truly wonderful. Yu have made the birds center to the spreads and they are simply stunning. I love them both and love that you shared them with us at AJJ using Matilde's theme.
