It's no secret that I love wildflowers (or weeds if you are serious gardener) There are several traffic roundabouts that we pass occasionally and they are covered in wild flowers. They really do look fabulous.
My page features a favourite of mine even though it makes me sneeze.
I made a splodgy distress ink green background and then added some texture paste through a stencil and some stamping with my new Art Inspirations Ink and Earth set by Emily.
I had this piece of card so I coloured it with more green distress ink and stamped the IndigoBlu Cow Parsley and added some white pen on the flowers.
Both my page and the card had some wavy doodling around them.
The quote is from one of Alison's Paper Artsy sets - 'Gardens and Growth'.
When I was a young teen walking home from school the hedgerows were full of Cow Parsley - there's not so much around these days.We did see some at Bodnant Gardens last week in the woods area. I hope to show more of Bodnant tomorrow
I hope you will join us at Art Journal Journey this month.
Thanks for looking, Chris
