We keep being asked if we miss our caravan....the answer at the moment is "No!" This is for several reasons! We often didn't go to the caravan at this time of year - it's only in the last few years that it has been open. We also have lots of lovely memories that when we choose to do so can be relived through our diaries and photos! The main reason though is because we planned our leaving and are now busy either visiting local attractions or making plans for going farther afield over the year!
It's not that we don't think about it and I'm sure that at certain times of the year we will wonder who is enjoying the scenery and the garden!
I made a journal page using a new stamp set by Hobbyart (or rather it was new last October and unopened until today!)
I used my small square journal, added some watercolour washy strips then an Aall and create stencil inked, spritzed and used like a stamp, The running hare was stamped in black and the some of the foliage in the set were stamped and overstamped using black and green inks!I added a few doodly bits.

Hi everyone! That's what we gave yesterday...we tackled the cupboards, made room for putting most things away or managed to get them into bags to go to the charity shop or tip!
It took most of the day so we rewarded ourselves by going to see '1917' at the cinema today. I must say at times it was a very harrowing watch but overall deserves all the good reviews we had read! It certainly has lots of awards nominations and I will be surprised if it doesn't win some!
Yesterday after all the efforts with the tidying operation I received an e-mail with this attachment in it!
We bought fitbit watches in the sales after Christmas and what with outings and walking around the apartment I have walked 26 miles! It gave me a lift for sure, and when I got on the scales this morning I had another lovely surprise - I have lost 14lb(6.3kg)since we sold our caravan before Christmas!
We have been out walking a few times and my medication has been changed but maybe it's less of what is in my T Stands For Tuesday photo, as it is now time to join Bleubeard and Elizabeth for our regular Tuesday meet up with the TSFT gang
This was our last full day and we went for coffee and a shared toasted teacake at Booths after taking some things to the charity shop around the corner!

The Mill owner's house was open and had been decorated for Christmas..
...but we only took a few photos outside..it was quite cold!!

Hi everyone! I'm still losing the battle to catch up with visiting blogs and we have reached a point in the sorting of boxes where we are just trying to decide where is the best place for some of the 'stuff'!! There have been several times where I have been on the brink of just taking it all to the recycling centre!!!
On the good news front - my sugar levels are sliding downwards and I have lost some weight!
We have also been planning some trips for later in the year! I think you can guess where we are going in April!!
I am sure making plans for a new adventure will fit in at Art Journal Journey and Jo's 'Something New' theme.
We are planning a longer visit than usual and using the train or RER to go on a few day trips.
I also used some new (to me)Oxford Impressions stamps that I bought in a sale before Christmas. I had a few mop ups from stencils scattered over the page so decided to stick with black ink although when I printed to the label I hadn't noticed the touch of pink there too!
We are in for a busy weekend so tonight I am going to relax and enjoy the beginning of a new series of 'Grantchester' later this evening!

Hi everyone - it's the lack of tidiness that is getting to me - we seem to be still walking around boxes and some stray bags!
The bags will soon be gone - we still have Christmas presents to exchange and are doing this on Saturday! The boxes...still have items in them that need swapping with some of the things we have already but the ones from the caravan are better and we are slowly getting that done!
In my craft room I have to admit that I have a problem...its scraps - boxes of them ...I threw some away but having looked in some of the boxes I know I could use most of them...one day...! What would happen if I didn't have them? Nothing! Would I miss them? Probably not...so I have a problem, there, it's out in the open....what next??
I did start a new junk journal! I used some papers that I had at the caravan and lots of scraps have started to be stuck onto pages..
Bits of wrapping paper, lots of leftover master boards even and paper bag that makes this last page!
I'd like to enter at Art Journal Journey for Jo's 'Something New' theme although of course my new journal is full of old stuff!!

We got back in the routine last Saturday with shopping trip with coffee halfway round
Hubby was determined that he wasn't going to smile...
..but three photos on and he couldn't keep a straight face!
We also managed a short walk the other day..and a break from sorting!
You may remember a couple of years ago we went to the Christmas Winter Garden to see the lights - when we visited Dunham this time it was daylight but it was interesting to see anyway!

Considering the grey skies of late here in the UK, the fires in Australia and the snow in the USA, as well as some very gloomy news items of late, we certainly could do with having something to smile about!
I used a Woodware Stamp - Sweet Tweet for my card, it was good to get my stamps out again!
I started by putting ink onto an acrylic block and spritzing before adding to the card. I used several colours, allowing them to partially dry before adding different colours.
I used a couple of stamps from the set and joined them by using a micron pen.
I stamped out one of the flowers and fussy cut it and added some stones on the ground.
All my colouring was using Faber Castell watercolour pencils and a water brush.
I hope you will join us at TIOT - as usual the challenge runs for two weeks.

I have a journal page for Jo's Something New theme at Art Journal Journey.
It is the second of two doodly pages started while watching hubby's choice of film the other night (no idea what the title was, but it had monsters in it)
I also chose this page to enter at the very last Moo Mania and More, a challenge I shall really miss! The theme is Triangles and I hope that my trees and some (very) rough triangular shapes allow me entry!
The first page I made was rather brighter!
Both pages were made by doodling some trees and fields with a micron pen then adding colour with my Derwent Inktense water colours - which were on the TV shelf in my pencil case! I used a new journal(too lazy to go next door and fetch one already started!
I chose to make two smaller scenes and outlined them with pen.
I hope everyone is having a great start to the new year - we are still trying to ignore the things we still have to deal with until after the weekend!

I used a large Stamperia stencil and a smaller Aall and Create one, my favourite Crafty Individuals background stamp and a Paper Artsy Scrapcosy flower
Here is my December spread all filled in - it was a busy month!
The start of a New Year brings with it a chance to reflect on the past and make plans for the future. I wonder what this year will bring for us all?
