Finished cards

A few posts ago I made a master board but I had only completed a couple of cards. In between going out shopping and visiting friends, playing in my journal and completing some more angels I managed to use the rest of the master board.

You can see more of how I made it and the other cards here.
It started like this….

…….and looked like this when I had used stencils and stamps

I would like to enter in

We went for a river side walk this afternoon - the long way round to the Post Office and the Charity shop!!
The river was rushing over the weir!
The river had been rising and falling and has left quite a lot of rubbish on the side.
Here is the bank from the other side of the river in July
It is where we saw the young canoe group going over.
They finished up near the island that the geese were on.
The island has been gradually disappearing - this was taken a month ago.
Here it is today.
Only two geese remain on the opposite bank!
This photo was taken by hubby in November - I love these colours
You can see some evidence on the right of the first time the river rose.
We are very fortunate to not have been flooded - the poor folk in our beloved Cumbria are having a really tough time of it and there is more rain on it's way - we are hoping that it is not as devastating as it has been.If you want to see more I have provided two links

Thanks for looking, Chris

Chris
I love this card collection. The masterboards have such gorgeous colours and I like the feeling of texture you achieved but then the end results, they are so special and what totally impresses me, they are flat making them a breeze to pop in the post! Inspirational.
Also, thank you for sharing such great photos.

Not sure how I missed the post on the masterboard, but I adore the one you made. So glad you shared how you made it, too. Yours is so much better than any that I have made in the past. I adore those cards.

That island is nearly gone, isn't it? I always love your walks and today was no different.

Finally got my cards all written and ready to post this morning (cue huge bill for postage...) Love your cards, and the river walk. The news of the flooding in Cumbria is awful, those poor people - again! xx

Fantastic idea for the great cards Chris and such terrific photographs brought back memories for me as my children were both daredevil canoeists. Hope the rain stays away from your area and it gets dry again

Love Chrissie xx

I love the earthy colour tones and pairing the fabulous masterboard with the deer and tree stamps is perfect. Lovely cards - and more lovely photos getting out and about. Must be awful up in Cumbria at the moment though.
