Believe!

After days, nay weeks, of rain and warm weather we are at last going to get something more like the weather we expect at this time of year! Just in time for a crisp New years Day walk I hope!
First though we have New Years Eve so here is my message for you.
It is quite sparkly and I did this a few days ago when I still hadn't tidied some of the sparkly Stickles away. The centre is just some overstamping of branches and fir trees.
Everything had a spattering of Picket Fence distress paint.
The blue paper that the quote is on (and the strips at the bottom too) are part of a snowy gelli print that didn't all get used.

I am entering my last page in the Art Journal Journey - Collage and some journalling challenge.

Tomorrow is a new challenge - not only on AJJ but for all of us - what will the New Year bring?
I hope that however you see the New Year in it will  bring something wonderful for you!

Thanks for looking, Chris

Hope you get your good weather, It's got a lot colder here, too. Lovely journal page, thanks so much for linking to AJJ again and for our continued support in the course of the year. Happy New Year, stay healthy and have fun, hugs, Valerie

If you are able to take a walk, you are in far better shape than I. I am still slipping and sliding around on my porch and walkway. The street is even more dangerous, with big sheets of ice.

I certainly like your thoughts, too. I think it's a good idea to believe something wonderful is about to happen. And that's something I hope YOU believe, too.

I hope your New Year's Eve is wonderful and your New Year's Day is filled to the brim with love, hugs, and happiness. Thank you again for being my friend.

Enjoy your walk - much nicer to have some crisp winter weather (preferably without snow and ice; never happy are we?!) Love the sentiment, and wishing you a very Happy New Year too. xx

Sounds like we are having similar weather.
Today is the first we've seen of the sun for many many days and they tell us the rain will stop for awhile too :-)
Your page is wonderful for ending the year AND for beginning the new year Chris ♥!
Happy Healthy New Year to you and yours

Chris
We've had grey day after grey day with heavy rain or "dreich" weather but saying that, nothing compared to what many parts of the U.K. is experiencing.
You beautifully and perfectly captured the feeling of a crisp winter day, love the colours, image and what a beautiful message.
Wishing you and yours all the very best for the New Year - hope it is kind to you and allows you all the creative time you could wish for.
Wishes
Lynne

Happy New Year to you both and I hope you continue your creativity through 2016.
Didn't get in touch when we went to the Lakes as you had mentioned that you couldn't go up to the caravan so we missed you. We did, as you noted , go up to Farfield for another lovely visit. There's a big French quilt show there, (I think), from 16th Jan. It sounded exciting when I chatted to a lady who is in on the background arrangement. We've also got ICHF Event City craft show to look forward to on 4-6th Feb. Hope to see you at one or other or BOTH!
Love Jo x
