I didn't really have anything in mind except that I might make something to go on my bookcase next to my letter rack.
Today that's exactly what I did! It's a while since we've been to Paris, but we did have a trip to France last year to stay with my (ex) sister in law in Poitiers. I do love France and this little box is my reminder of happy days.

The Eiffel Tower was from a set of tags I have had for ages and the French stamps were used to stamp two cut outs from my trellis die. The top was also a piece of leftover lace cut with a Martha Stewart punch.
Just to give you an idea how big the box is I have photographed by my stamp pad.

Now I get the title of the post. It really IS in miniature. This is a lovely box, and I think you did a beautiful job of decorating it. I was super impressed, then saw how small it was, and got even MORE impressed!
Of course you may ask Julia for my address. You may tell her I looked for your e-mail address on your blog and when I couldn't find it, I gave you permission to get my address from her.
Wow....you have managed to apply so many details in to your box Chris....I thought it was much bigger in the photographs. Love the amazing backgrounds and adornments .....a real treasure

You asked where I got the image for the cup I used in my J52 challenge this week. It came from a template I downloaded from a company called "Milkwood Studios." When I did an internet search, there were several entries, but none that were the one I remember. In fact, I think the woman even said she was shutting down her website. As a result, I couldn't find them on the internet. Sorry I couldn't be more help, because all her templates were FREE!
This is so cute and I'm so glad you photographed next to your ink pad as I can appreciate all the lovely embellishments placed in and around this intricate design.
