WOYWW 245

The sun seems to be trying to shine here but my heart goes out to those of you caught in  storms and floods - some of the images on the television show a very sad picture of what is happening around the country!
A fairly messy desk to show this week - evidence of some experimenting, stuff not put away from some Autumny Wedding Invites ( samples for my son and his fiancé to look at and choose from)

Can you see the brown paper towards the back of my working space?
I 'found' this on one of my trips to TK Maxx at £2.99 this DCWV 6x6 pad was a bargain, it is sticky backed, goes through my Big Shot and doesn't cut the backing so that anything cut out stays on the sheet - magic!!
Do you recognise what I've been cutting out? One of my purchases from the Event City craft show - the new TH die - spring greenery!
Okay so what else did I buy?
Memory box stencils, the Sizzix accordion die(after watching Lindsay demonstrate how easy it was to use) - still not opened it but I have plans!! Another bargain buy - honestly the crush to get these was quite something - a box of Docraft embellishments, I bought another in a different colour - a pound each!! Although they are Christmas boxes the things inside are not all Christmassy. I saw the same box in the sale area at the Range on Monday for £4.99 reduced from £9.99.

Why was I shopping in the Range you ask - well you'll just have to wait and see - but things are about to change around here!

If you would like to know more about this desk hopping fun pop along to Julia's blog the Stamping Ground - all will be explained!!

Thanks for looking, if I don't return your visit it is often because  I can't get my phone to access your comment box - it just comes up with gobbled gook sometimes so please accept my apologies.

Chris

Some fun new goodies to play with. Stencils seem to be all the rage now, I really try to resist...practicing self control. But I can dream. I saw someone else has that Spring greenery die. Carole #68

It was great to see you at Event City and glad that you are having fun with your purchases - you'll love that accordian album once you try it! Sorry I didn't reply to your text - my phone's been off, charging up for the last few days. Am sitting here rather nervously with the scary sound of gale force winds swooping round the house - hope you're okay where you are. Lindsay x x x

Hi Chris! I have not participated in WOYWW for yet another week due to still feeling poorly and time vanishing alarmingly fast! I am determined to try next week! You certainly have some great stuff on your post this week. Now I'm intrigued about those 'changes'??? Julie Ann xxx

Since I live in the US, I have never heard of the Range. But I love to shop for craft supplies in odd places. It's fun to see what you can pick up when you aren't in a crafting store. You got some beautiful supplies, dies, and stencils.

Thanks for visiting me. Glad you got your phone to work. I had that happen to me, but through my computer, not on a phone. For months I couldn't see the comment box. It was an "add-on" to Firefox and it was not compatible with blogger. Happy day after WOYWW from #1.

You have more than the required 6 inches of working space so that counts as tidy. Mine is back to looking as if a bomb has hit it, while I am labelling my ink pads and trying to craft at the same time. It is not helped by another box arriving today with ink pads to replace the ones that are getting rather dry. Have a good time with your wedding samples, and I hope you are keeping dry and safe. xx Maggie #15

Yay for the Spring Greenery! And lots of bargains too... I'm sorely tempted by the Memory Box stencils - looking forward to seeing what you get up to with those.
