It's All About Time at Try It On Tuesday

The days are getting shorter, the clocks go back this weekend and our new theme at Try It On Tuesday is 'It's All About Time'                 The Design Team have made some great inspirational samples for you so please take a look.

We have been on some lovely Autumn walks lately and almost every time we have encountered one or more Robins...

....so in amongst my clocks I have featured Aall and Create's Bipasha's Robin.

The background was made with Dina Wakley gloss sprays - dropped onto the page and then spritzed with water.

Green and red are traditional Christmas colours (another timely reminder - 8 weeks to go) but we have noticed on our Autumn walks that there is still lots of green around with the reds, browns and oranges.

These photos were taken at the 'new to us place' that we visited last week - I'll tell you where in my next post

I am going to link to Art Journal Journey and Tracey's 'My favourite Colour is October'

The TIOT theme runs for the usual two weeks and we look forward to seeing how 'It's All about Time' for you.

Thanks for looking, Chris

Your lovely robin is so different from ours. I like how you have positioned it among those clocks and flowers. It's truly lovely. It also makes a great entry for Tracey's theme at Art Journal Journey, too.

I love your robins! I wish ours looked like that, instead of being bigger birds. Those little ones are so cute. They work so well in stamps too. I love that image you used. It is perfect for both TIOT and AJJ too. You created a beauty this time Chris. Beautiful scenery too. I hope all is well. Hugs-Erika

Lovely page Chris, live the Robin.

Farmer has been up the field today with his huge tractor and cut our hawthorn hedge for us, lots of cleaning up of prickly cuttings to clear up now but looks better and can see the view better.

So nice to see the Robin amongst your page Chris and that you were joined also on your stunning October walks. So many people just think of them at Christmas but I see them all year long. Your your chosen words on your journal page, another super display, thank you for sharing Chris.
Hugs Tracey xx

A lovely journal page Chris, and so topical with Christmas being so close. I have not bought any of those gloss sprays but I do like the way you have used them in your background. Very traditional but not a deep red, rather a more subtle one that works so much better with the subject of robin and watches.
Another lovely page Chris.
Hugs, Neet xx
