A happy soul!!

Before I start my post properly I would like to say 'Hello' to Christine who tapped me on the shoulder at Happy Stampers last week to tell me that although she isn't a blogger she enjoyed looking at my blog! It was lovely to meet you Christine, I hope you enjoy today's post!

We have just returned from a few days at our caravan - the weather wasn't very good but we did get out and about and we got some tidying done in the garden. 

Once again I have been reflecting on how fortunate we are! Yes we both have a few health problems, things don't always go as planned and there have been obstacles to overcome over the years, but we both know that we are blessed to have a lovely family and friends and to be able to travel like we do!

My page started with a splodged stencil that I had used, then spritzed to get the last bits of ink off.

I made this page so quickly that there are no photos of the process, but I think it is fairly self explanatory!

 I used a Crafty Individuals background stamp, one of Carabelle Studios stamp sets by Azoline, the horse and the swirl are Visible Images stamps and the quote is an old Unity one.

I added some rub-on gilding which shows up better on the bottom photo.

I hope this will be acceptable for Art Journal Journey, where Elke has chose Landscapes Of the Soul for her them this month.
