T Stands for Taking our Time!

Hello everyone, once again this is a scheduled post and I can't promise to return all visits today so feel free to pop in and out quickly!

I am joining Bluebeard and Elizabeth for T Stands For Tuesday and I am asking if you would mind linking me again dear Elizabeth?
I will have written most of these words before leaving home but by now know that I can add some photos and some words!!I started to fill in my journal which I prepared before we came away.

We have moved on since last week and hopefully I have some photo posts here already!
I will caption the photos here where needed!
We are in Albi now (Monday evening) but will be on the move again tomorrow to Bordeaux!
Albi cathedral was beautiful - although the exterior is mainly red brick the inside more than makes up for it! We spent so long in there that it was past lunch time so we had a crepe and coffee to keep us going until the evening! We left ourselves enough time to visit the Toulouse Lautrec museum - interesting for me and fortunately in such a beautiful building that hubby was happy too!    Now for some photos!

Happy T Day and….
Thanks for looking, Chris

I seem to have deleted a couple of photos so will try to remember when I get home to include them!By the way - the sun came out again this afternoon! Apologies for not visiting many folk last week - that rail strike has a lot to answer for! Chrisx

I actually saw your request before it was almost too late this week (grin). I want to go to that Toulouse Lautrec museum. I always enjoy his work, and he seems to have made posters an artform.

Your crepes look wonderful and more than just a quick bite. T with his tea looks happy, and I love the teapot and beautiful cups that the restaurant used. If I were into red and black at home, I'd want a set just like that.

So glad to see some of the places you are going, as well as your art journal. Thanks for taking time to share these and your drinks with us for T this Tuesday.

OK, I wish you could send me one of those crepes. Yummy. :) Can't wait until you just get home to see more photos. The Toulouse-Lautrec museum sounds like a great place since I just a read a book with him in it. Enjoy your next leg of your trip. Hugs-Erika

What amazing photos! The cathedral is stunning with all it's lovely detail and how wonderful that you had time for the Toulouse Lautrec Museum, I love his artwotk 😁. Those crepes look huge, if they were filled with chocolate I think I may have been in heaven eating them - yum! The China teapot and cups are a lovely design and so very stylish. Your journal pages looks fabulous too, I love the stamps you used for the border, they remind me of all the ornate stonework from your photos - perfect! Enjoy the rest of your holibobs and Happy T Day! J 😊

Wow! to the cathedral. And the crepes. Love your DH posing with the teabag. Can I have my tea, now. :-D Love the posters. The museum where I teach had a huge exhibit of Alphonse Much. Love his work. And I have a pair of socks with Chat Noir. I love being able to tag along on your trip. Happy T Day!

How lovely to catch up with your travels - the journal's already looking full of detail and delight, and the cathedral looks magnificent. I adore Lautrec - especially that cat. He adorned my walls at university (more than a quarter of a century ago!), and I guess is now sitting in a poster roll in storage... must dig him out again!
