Hi everyone, the weather seems to have picked up a little bit and we have had some lovely evening sun. My latest page for my 'Hot Summer' theme at Art Journal Journey is still at the beach though.
I used to love visiting the beach when I was a child and then when we had our caravan near Morecambe I would love to just walk along the shoreline.
I had a watery looking page in my square journal. I used some scraps of paper cut into squares/rectangles and joined them together - I added some stamped shells and some stamped, coloured and fussy cut beach items too. The sentiment came from the same set. I used markers to outline the papers.
I would love to cool down at the beach on a 'Hot Summer' day but I don't think I would spend a whole day now I'm older!
I am a little behind with catching up with posts, last week was a week full of appointments and tradesmen visits and ended with a day out for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. I'll be with you soon!
Thanks for looking, Chris

Happy anniversary!
How wonderful to live close enough to go to a beach. If a lake front beach counts, I was near a beach growing up. Living in Minnesota I was nowhere near a saltwater beach--lol!
Pretty page. :)
Congratulations on your wedding anniversary!
It's great that you're at the beach; it's such a wonderful place. Have a wonderful time there!
It's wonderful to see your beach summer page!
Hugs Elke
Happy 25th Chris. I hope you had a wonderful celebration. I'm with you about beach walking, and this is a great page to celebrate that. I really enjoyed seeing it! hugs-Erika
Congratulations on your Silver Wedding.
What a lovely page you have made for us to enjoy. Irt suggests a cool breeze by the water's edge to me and I long to go up to the beach somewhere.
Shame you don't have your caravan now.
Hugs, Neet xx
Really pretty page, Chris! Great for your challenge at Art Journal Journey.
Hugs,
