Paint by the sea!

Oh yes! Its another mop up /collage/recycle page for Art Journal Journey! Alison really started something when she chose the 'Recycle and Collage' theme!
I added a piece of Infusions sprinkled paper that I had stamped on unsuccessfully, also here are a Crafty Individuals image torn in half, a circle cut from a photo I took at Formby beach, a circle cut from some under paper, a paintbrush cut from a magazine and a stamped feathers that didn't make it onto a another project! I decided that as I had a paintbrush here I would use my AALL and Create paintbrush stamp - the background is quite dark so I highlighted it with a white pen and then doodled black and white dots on the middle of the page!

I've reached the 'we're going away, so the place must be clean' stage in our preparations!(or is that just me?)

Thanks for looking! Chris

This is a fabulous page using your bits and pieces Chris.
I often think about a clean up before I go away and have to say yes I do manage it generally, but it never seems to get as far as my craft room.
Have a super time away.

This recycled art is fabulous, Chris. I am in awe of how you combine all these disparate images and stampings and turn them into a cohesive art journal page. It's a genuine beauty. So glad you shared it with us at Art Journal Journey.

And, no, it is NOT just you. Somehow, if there is one thing out of place before I go somewhere overnight, I wouldn't be able to sleep until I knew everything was photo-ready. Strange, but it is apparently in my genes (grin).

Looks VERY Formby beach-ish to me...always blowing a gale and grey, lol! I love those men, though...great to see them in your page.

I like how you can use such a variety, including elements that were unsuccessful before, and make such a delightful piece. I like the colors.

I'm not a fanatic, but I much prefer coming home to a clean house :) Such an exciting trip!
