Still not fitting in at AJJ

Hi everyone, another page for Art Journal Journey - 'Art for Arts Sake'

You may remember the quote on my previous page, I have one in a similar vein but a much more simple page!
This was made with some Brushos in two of my favourite colours, spritzed and allowed to run down the page.
I stamped AALL and Create Tracy Evans's butterfly in different colours over the page then added one that had been stamped and cut out over a black stamped butterfly.
I added some twirly bits from another of Tracy's stamp sets along with the sentiment.

I would also like to link to Moo Mania and More where the theme is Favourite colours - as I said, these are two of my favourite colours....but that may change tomorrow!

Thanks for looking, Chris

Love this, Chris. Just goes to show that sometimes it's better to keep things simple - it looks stunning!

Great shade of blue, too... one of my favourite shades. I've been trying to leave a comment for ages but having no success. Hope this works ;-)

Stay cool :-)

This is beautiful. I really MUST get some of those brushos. They really turn a background into a wow factor. I love the added butterfly that sticks above the rest, too. So glad you created this for your theme at Art Journal Journey.

Hi Chris I have loved your last posts and the journal pages which look fabulous.
Sorry I haven't joined in yet but I do aim to try, I never realised how I took two arms for granted, the broken one is useless as a crafting aid.

Oh Chris! I am simply in LOVE with this page! Precious! WOW!

Sorry fo my late visit, I was out an about with girlfriends!

You are an exquisite hostess ! I am in awe of all the inspiration you share at the challenge blog - I guess many of folk is on holidays and the hot weather also leads to less participation this month. I hope I find some more time for art as well with so many events here during July and August. But I try my best to steal "me time" as much as possible for art journaling!

Happy start of the weekend dear Chris!
Hugs, Susi

Very pretty page, Chris. I love the "little twirly bits." You have the coolest stamps!

You're doing a fabulous job as hostess at AJJ. I counted - you've already linked 5 pages and it's only July 6! Wow!

Fab page again Chris. Love your colours and I love those twirly bits - I thought it was cotton pieces.
Very pleasing to the eye. Love it.
