This was when we visited in March.
This is the same area from the other direction - as you can see I am still with the photo bomber!
It's great to see the flowers in bloom!
The Stumpery is now fully open and we enjoyed seeing the plants growing around the old tree stumps! We were surprised to see that the Narcissi are still quite fresh in this area
The swan stood up for a stretch and a preen before settling down again.
A handkerchief tree - see how the flowers hang down!
This is where I have an epic fail on the drink front - we were quite hungry after our walk and all you can see here is the very edge of my glass of water that I had with our meal - believe me it was a very nice spicy sweet potato quiche and salad!
Hubby giving me just one of his - 'here she goes again look'!(This is the best!)
Of course I'm joining Bleubeard and Elizabeth for T Stands for Tuesday and I hope I am forgiven E!
If you want to know why I am in a pink mood (as Elizabeth spotted) I have more to show you tomorrow!
Thanks for looking, Chris

Wow. What a gorgeous place. It was pretty in March but now it is just amazing. Glad you shared and the quiche sounds good. I haven't had quiche in a while, I should make one. Enjoy your T day. Hugs-Erika
Isn't mother nature amazing. I am in awe of the various changes that have occurred in just two months. Wonderful photos, including the one of the photo bomber. The colors and shapes are simply beautiful.I am in awe of this place and hope you share it through the coming months, too.
Love the photo of T and his look while you shared your quiche. I'm with Erika. I haven't made quiche in years, but it really sounds good (and fattening, too).
Thanks for taking us to Sizergh again and for sharing your quiche and water with us for T this Tuesday. Can't wait to see what this pink kick you are on amounts to.
the photos are amazing! what a great place to visit. Please go again soon!
wonderful photos of the gardens at Sizergh Castle!
Greetings Elke
Looks like an amazing place, I would love to wander around there. I like the sound of the quiche, that's something I love. Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie
Lovely gardens, the handkerchief tree is amazing and the shapes and colours of the acers are beautiful! The photo of your Mr. Made me smile and from the looks of it it's probably a good job you didn't make him wait to eat by taking a photo beforehand ...lol! 😀 Happy T Day! J 😊
What a difference in a few months! It certainly is a beautiful garden. I love what they have done with the stumpery. (Even the name tickles me).
Your husband's look says: 'long-suffering' .
Mmmm quiche. I love quiche and am quite good at making them. I cannot do them in the summer as it is too hot to make pastry and shop bought pastry is pants (and not big enough). That is a shame as a quiche is nice for picnics.
What is there to forgive? You have your drink in the picture. End of story.
Happy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca
such a change and what beautiful, lush gardens now!! I have never seen nor heard of a handkerchief tree so TFS. Your quiche sounds delicious-I pretty much love all quiches tho:) Happy T day!
i´d LOVE to go there, this is the best time for parks and botanical gardens etc. and i would not leave this qziche untouched also:)
happy t-day!!
You got some great photos at Sizergh Castle, Chris. I love the lambs and swans.
I see the drink glass, so that counts for our T-party ;-) Your hubby's expression - my hubby won't even allow photos of his face - lol.
Happy T-Day! Hugs, Eileen
Truly beautiful gardens and I am so glad that you shared them. Don't feel bad about the drink...we all forget from time to time. I think all husband have that look :) Happy T Day!!!!
I just loved seeing the Garden photos Chris! Makes me wish i could do more gardening here.... but the deer won't let me and right now i'm enjoying seeing them too much to change anything... maybe a walled garden is in my future.. fingers crossed..Well i think the edge of your glass of water is just fine..lol Happy T day!! So sorry for the late visit! Hugs! deb
What a beautiful spot to wander around. Looks very peaceful. I had to awww when I saw the photo of the lambs. The Eldest had a stuffed lambie (still has it) as her favorite lovey when she was little. Thank your Hubby for being so patient while you take photos for us. Tell him you're providing a service: enabling the nosy (-; Happy T Day
What a gorgeous garden to walk through.
LOVED every photo...thanks for sharing..............sorry I'm a little late in returning your visit.
