In a blue mood!

Hubby and I went for a lovely walk this afternoon - around the boundaries of our village! At times we come quite close to the motorway or the main route out of South Manchester but not to worry when it's Bluebell time!

The May blossom is ready to burst it's buds too.
The Heron was fishing - but too far away….
…and the island in the middle of the Mersey quite big at the moment as it hasn't rained for a while.
So, you see I am not really blue, just my journal page…
I sprinkled the page with blue and green PA Infusions)can't remember which and did some random stamping of Seth Apter's stamps and a Kaisercraft lace stamp. The flowers were stamped and I drew in some stems and grass before using a white Pentel gel pen on the flowers. I added some words too - had them for ages!

I hope that the flowers and stems are elegant enough to qualify for Art Journal Journey where Gill of Gibby Frogget Creations has chosen the theme 'Elegance and Grunge'

I know my flowers will definitely be OK to join the challenge at Country View Challenges - where the theme is 'Flower Power'
and also
The Artistic Stamper Creative Team Challenge which is Floral Fantasy

Such a beautiful page, blue is my favourite colour although it doesn't often match my mood ... lol! :-) I enjoyed walking with you to see all the bluebells. Your background with those colourful infusions and layers of stamps is wonderful. I like the way you used the white gel pen for the flower petals too - lovely! Happy Friday and wishing you a great weekend! J :-)

Gorgeous page Chris! I love blue, it's such an uplifting colour. All the black stamping is just wonderful, and the sentiment is one I live by for sure!!

Your photographs are just amazing!! Your trees are already fully green, ours are just now starting to show some buds. Love that photo of the Heron, this is a wish list bird for me that I hope to see one day. The bluebells are just gorgeous! Not sure why, but we have no ground flowers in the woods here at all. Perhaps I will buy some wildflower seeds and just start sprinkling them everywhere! lol
