Barred!

Hi everyone! I have been collecting bar codes for todays page!

It seems to me that something with lots of lines on deserved to honoured for my 'Hold The Line ' theme at Art Journal Journey!

What made it more fun was when I found the printing colour test on one of the packs, which led me to adding lots of spritzed watery Distress Oxide inks.

The paper doll boy with his barred socks was made for this page!!!

I used some favourite letters for the title!

Yesterday we had a lucky visit to Dunham Massey before we went to pick up our groceries.

Here are a few pics.

This is the car park - about five minutes after leaving here the heavens opened and by the time we did our pick up we got soaked!

Thanks for looking, Chrisx

How incredibly clever, Chris. I've used bar codes from the ones on my suitcases when I fly, but never considered using smaller ones. I love how you positioned them, too. Not only was this a great composition, it was a fabulous entry. The little boy (didn't even think about his socks until you pointed them out) looks like he was made for this spread, too. Thanks for such an inspiring entry for your theme at Art Journal Journey.

The seasons are truly starting to change in your area. It is so beautiful there, it's surprising it started to pour while you were collecting your shopping.

Reflections of colorful foliage in still water -- one of the most beautiful scenes of this season! I like yours. Yesterday we walked along the river and it was similar.

Dunham Massey - what a lovely place to go for a wander. Did you have to book a slot on the car park?
Love your page Chris, and what a great idea to use barcodes. Such an everyday event, especially when the shopping has just been done and what a great page they make. Love the leaning boy!
Hugs, Neet xx

Oh my gosh, your bar code idea is perfect, Chris! So fun and he looks fab standing in middle of the bars and on top of your fab splatters. Love this. Kind of represents our materialistic world doesn't it?

Lovely photos Chris. I went to get groceries yesterday and when I got out of the store, the bottom fell out as well. Most people where standing under the overhang and getting their cars up to the front to load. I decided to just brave it although the wind almost took my umbrella. It was kind of refreshing as I haven't been venturing out and hadn't felt rain in a long time.

Many hugz
