Find Courage

I love Sheila's theme at Art Journal Journey - she has chosen 'Architecture'. If you read my blog regularly you will know that we do a fair bit of visiting historical buildings and that architecture fascinates me both old and new!

I have used an image that you have already seen.
This time I have kept things neutral
The page was gessoed and then given a wash of blues and browns using DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics
A little bit of stencilling, oh yes! and the thinlets mixed media die that I finally got my hands on!! The rest is a stamping of random bits of various stamps.

Linking to Art Journal Journey -Architecture
and also to Moo Mania where we are showing PATTERNS

Thanks for looking, Chris

Lovely combination of patterns and the face/mail stamp gives a superb focal point for them.
I do like your use of subtle colours too.
Thanks for another very attractive piece for the theme, glad you like the theme, and yes, visiting old buildings and churches can be fascinating.

Love the layered lattice, stencilled and thinlit (yay!) - it has a really structural architectural feel. The vintage neutrals are lovely and the LP image makes for a brilliant focal image.

Fantastic patterned display and the neutrals really help bring out the patterns so they shine on the page. xox
