It's Wednesday but...

.....we have had no internet - or some intermittently, for just over a day and a half! I had posts partly written but couldn't actually get a connection to finish them or publish them! When we did get a connection I had a couple of appointments to keep so here I am on Wednesday evening on catch up!

I am a day late with a little reminder that our challenge at Try It On Tuesday - Stencils and Diecuts (or both)runs until next Monday evening!
                   -------------------
Hi everyone, it's no secret that I love flowers and gardens and everything in them(unless they have a pond and there's a likelihood of seeing frogs!)
I made a journal page with a stencilled background using a Caraballe Studio stencil by Azoline and added some random stamping.

I chose to use some Tim Holtz wildflower dies. I love ALL flowers and can probably name more 'weeds' than cultivated ones even though my Gardener Dad use to walk me around the nursery talking about flowers. I have a wild area in our caravan garden where I allow anything than doesn't sting or scratch to live!

The words are a new mini word stamp from French company Denim that I bought at Version Scrap!
Does any one else think that weeds grow at a faster rate than garden flowers?

I would like to join Jo at Art Journal Journey too, where she has chosen Flora and Fauna as her theme this month!
I am also linking to the Flowers theme at Moo Mania and More

Thanks for looking, Chris

the delicate plants in black are amazing on the background!

Your internet, my keyboard. I feel for you, dear. It's happened to me in the past, too.

I think this challenge was made for you. Your love of flora is well known, and I am certainly impressed with the beautiful spread you have created in your art journal. It is beautiful.

To answer your question, my dandelions are growing tall, yet my grass is still quite short. Who knows, it could be me, but I believe weeds thrive and often choke out other grasses and plants.

Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful floral spread with us at Art Journal Journey today. I hope your internet is soon fixed.

you've been having lots of connection issues with your internet! that would drive me mad as i use it all the time... love your project though; especially the dramatic black flowers.

Glad you managed to get onto the internet and show us this beautiful page! I love the large flower stencil you used in the background and quote you used 😁. The colour combination and die cut flowers look amazing too. This is a perfect page for Try it on Tuesday and also for Art Journal Journey, thanks so much for joining in the fun! Happy Thursday Chris! J 😊 x

Internet access outages are so frustrating! I like flowers and gardens, too, but I subscribe to the view that weeds are just flowers in places we don't want ;)
