...but first, a mystery!!
Hi everyone! I seem to be having difficulty leaving comments on some blogs! I thought it was just because I was using my phone for commenting when we are travelling or when I am sitting 'watching' TV! But it seems wherever I am on my phone - WIFI or not, it makes no difference! I have found that if I remember to 'visit web site' I stand a better chance of publishing but sometimes I see the comment disappear before my eyes and have type it out again not even knowing whether it will publish and I confess to occasionally giving up and hoping I can get on the computer! If any one has any advice I will be very grateful!
Right, let's get up into the sky!
I had used this page in my 'black' journal to test some Distress Oxides when I first bought some...ages ago!
When I picked the journal up and found it I had just the thing for it!
The moon is just some silver paint through a stencil and the owls head is a Carabelle Studio stamp that I bought for hubby to use in his little journal(not an art journal, but he does occasionally add pictures or stamping...if they are wildlife based!!)I heat embossed it to show up more!
The words written in white pen are mine, a reminder of the night an owl swooped out of a churchyard in front of me and had me running all the way home!
I am of course joining Erika at Art Journal Journey and her 'In the Sky/In the Air theme
Thanks for looking, Chris

that's so infuriating! I don't often comment from my phone because it's an android one and google keeps signing me out on the phone, and I never know my password! but it's only random blogs, so some I can and some not.... I love the owl stamp!
A friend of mine had the same problem on het tablet and she solved it by going to google chrome.
Great sky!
This is fantastic! I love this! It makes me think of Halloween. (Yes, I know it's a long way off, but it's one of my favorite holidays. :-) I have only heard owls "who"ing at night, but have never seen any in the wild. A few years ago, Snowy Owls were coming farther South than they normally do, and were in CT, but I never managed to spot one, to get a photograph of one. I like your words referring to the owl as a ghost.
As far as your problems trying to leave comments: I always use a computer, but I've heard of other people having problems sometimes, using tablets and phones.
Chris, the problem of comments has happened to me occasionally as well.
One thing I have found is that I had to wait until the blog I was visiting was fully loaded.
There is a circle that spins [Top left area ] on the blog, I wait until it stops spinning and that usually works.
Your journal page on black looks awesome very atmospheric.

WHOOO, I love this Chris !

Since I don't have a cell phone, I can't help you at all, dear Chris. But, I CAN admire that incredible journal page you created. That owl is amazing and your silver moon pops. Thanks so much for sharing this with us using Erika's theme at Art Journal Journey, dear.
I had that same problem when I tried to post comments from my phone in Florida in late February. Not sure how to fix it.Sorry, but if you find out how I would love to know how to fix it. And I really love your page. Owls are a favorite of mine and the night effect with the moon is fantastic. I really appreciate your support this month. So thanks for joining in my challenge. Hugs-Erika
I just read Yvonne's comment and that sometimes happens to me when I visit Susi's blog. My blog takes a long time to load, too. I think it has to do with that "thank you blogger" widget I installed on my right sidebar. I think Susi has one, too.
I dare not use my phone to comment as i've recently had a new one and it's caused me many problems signing me in and out of things so if I can not get online this way i'm tripping over myself trying to catch up with everyone. Everything seems to have changed since the *Data Rules*... Fingers crossed there are not many problems commenting this way.
Great find that workout page, makes perfect clouds for that fab embossed Owl image. I tried not to laugh about the Owl swooping out and startling you but I could not help it please forgive me Chris hee hee!!!
Hugs Tracey xx
This owl scene is quite atmospheric! We do see the occasional owl here and can sometimes hear them.
I've never tried to access blogs on my cell phone, I just always use the computer. I hope someone can help you with it.
Such a fabulous page! I love the drama that you have created with the black background and clouds 😁. The EP owl is perfect and I think I would run home too, not because of the owl but because of being in the churchyard ...lol 😉. I hope you've had a lovely week and wishing you a happy Friday and Weekend! J 😊 x
This is stunning, Chris. Isn't it odd how the simplest designs so often have the most impact - it's really, really atmospheric!

Beautiful save of a DOX trial. The owl is stunning embossed against that spooky 'sky'. Have no idea about the commenting issue; I don't do anything from my phone except call, text and take my photos. (Techno dino here!) Hugs!
