T stands for.....the park and more!

Hi everyone! It's Tuesday again already - we had a couple of days with my son and grandchildren last week and had a couple of outings which I will tell you about another time!
I am keen to continue showing you our Vienna photos!

These are some of the grand buildings in the area around the museum that hubby saw and took me back to!

When we met up our first priority was a drink, we headed towards another museum and found a drink stand selling fruit drinks..
Delicious, cool and very bright!!!
It is with these that I am joining in with the tea party going on over at Bluebeard and Elizabeth's blog
We were lucky to get in as they were due to close but the very kind gentleman asked would we just like to see the hall of columns  leading through to the museum!

This is museum we would like to return to one day!
We walked through the park...

We could hear this man before we saw him...
Hubby's zoom picked him up a bit better!

We walked around the area and came across a circus..
...which meant that this was the best view we could get of this building - the Town Hall
These unusual looking crows were everywhere
This crow was enjoying a drink from the fountain

This really is a most beautiful area, but wait until you see where we are going next - one of my favourite days of the whole holiday!

Thanks for looking, I had every intention of having a catch up today but after attempting to work in an ever shrinking desk top I just had to tidy!! I will get to you soon!!
Chris

Vienna looks gorgeous Chris. The guard was nice to let you have a peek inside. But I know how frustrating it is to get someplace and find out they are about to close. Especially when you aren't local. And you are a big tease, I can't wait to see where you take us next week. Happy T day. Hugs-Erika

Stunning architecture. Everything looks like a very large fairyland. I'm anxious to see the next post with your "favorite" place.

I'm always impressed by the architecture in these huge old buildings, and the grounds are always so well designed, too. Great photos!

The crows are fun. We get the occasional crow here, but ours are solid black.

Happy T Tuesday

I'm really loving your time in Vienna. These photos were incredible, and those columns in that museum were simply unbelievable. Stunning and incredible.

Your fruity drink was a perfect beginning to this post, even if you did miss the fashion parade. Thanks for sharing your wonderful photos and drinks with us for T this Tuesday, dear Chris.

I enjoyed your stroll around beautiful Vienna, Chris. The bird on the fountain looks more like a raven to me, but I'm no bird expert ;-)

Happy T-day! Hugs, Eileen

The building is quite impressive. The Volksgarten is so beautiful. I liked the picture of the ducks chilling out. The tree looked very sad (the tree with a missing branch looks like a face to me. The hole left when the branch was cut looks like an eye. The branch in the front makes a very long nose and the scarred bark underneath looks like a frowny mouth.) Maybe he was sad he couldn't go to the circus. Perfect timing catching the crow drinking at the fountain. Happy T Day

What absolutely beautiful buildings! I have never been to Vienna. Perhaps I ought to think about it.
How kind of that man to let you see the row of columns and the opportunity to take some pictures before the museum closes. Did I just spot a white horse looking over the railing? Or did I dream that?
Your photos of the Volksgarten are lovely too.
Thank you so much for showing us a bit of Vienna. I hope you have more....
Happy T-Day,
Lisca
