T Stands for.....taking off!

Hi everyone!
It really has been hectic here! As if it wasn't enough to be going away we decided that we could also get to the WOYWW crop over in Llandudno last Saturday! I'm so glad we did as it was great to see old friends again!
As you can see - a happy bunch!
You can see more photos at Lunch Lady Jan's blog. I must admit to being too busy to even contemplate recording events in a blog post so I will wait until we get back!
We did get to see the sea too..and the hills through the mist!!
We stopped off for a little walk before we drove home

We need to go back on a sunny day!!

I have managed to make a journal page to link to Art Journal Journey - a 6 x 6 page that took me ages from start to finish.
Clear gloss gel over a mop up page
 Added some inks
Finally some  sparkly trees cut from an old Christmas card, a quote and a little girl wearing a muff(A Tim Holtz paper doll)
I don't know what the girl's dreams are, but as a child mine was to have a muff to keep my hands warm. My friend had one that was on a cord around her neck and I always wished that I would have one!
Maybe it's not too late???
This is of course for Yvonne's 'World of Fantasy' theme.

My TSFT pic today is of hubby drinking his cuppa at Waitrose on our way to the caravan last time! It's a handy place to stop and shop!
You can't see my drink but it is of course coffee and we are here to join Bleubeard and Elizabeth for T Stands for Tuesday!
I usually link to the T post but this time I am linking to the blog in the hope that I can link in the morning!
So that's it for now! Time for bed as we leave here at 6.30 tomorrow!
We fly off to Budapest just as some of you will eating breakfast!

I have done my usual trick of starting a post so that I can add photos - but I am not promising anything!!

Happy T Day to all and thanks for looking, Chris

My sincere apologies. I am having a terrible time keeping my internet going. I spent nearly an hour on the phone with AT&T, my internet provider. They can’t seem to fix the problem on their end, so want to send someone out today (Tuesday) to fix the problem. If it’s MY problem, I will need to pay for the call, but they are telling me they believe it’s at their pole.

Regardless, while I was on hold and could NOT get on the internet, I decided to write this apology to each of you. Many of you know I read every word you write and I try to include a brief comment that shows I have been to visit and have seen your drink. However, I am being told I should shut the computer down every time it locks up, then reboot. I was able to leave comments to two people, but each time I did, the internet went down on me again.

Since I need to be up early to let the phone guy in (NOT my favorite time of the day), I will leave you with this generic and most grateful T day gratitude. I hope you understand this is totally out of my control and I am grateful you stopped by for T this Tuesday.

Love the wonderful texture on your journal page, and the colors, too! It is great you got to go to the WOYWW crop! I spied Shaz! You all have so much fun over there! One last comment; how is it you get your hubby to pose for your photos! That is great! Happy Tea Day!

So fun to get together with like minded folks. Beautiful scenery on your walk. Your journal page has those same gorgeous misty colors. I was about 5 or 6 years old and I had a white muff with a cord, too. The teapot is very sweet so is your hubby for posing for pics. Happy T Day and safe travels.

What a happy photo, Chris. I wish there were groups like that near me. We had a monthly card making group for a couple of years but it disbanded.

Beautiful fantasy page. I loved muffs as a young girl too. In fact, I loved them so much that my bridesmaids wore fur muffs with sprays of flowers on them at our winter wedding.

Have a wonderful trip (so we can see your lovely photos at T ;-)!

Happy T-day! Hugs, Eileen

Simply lovely frosty page - that texture with the wash of subtle colours over it is magical. So glad to hear you made it to the crop and had such a lovely time.
