Three, Two….. a few…more photos that is!

Hi everyone, I'm here with my third journal page for Art Journal Journey, where I am hosting for this month with my '101 Ways To Keep Warm theme'.
Thank you so much for your kind words!

I am singing a song, this time sung by one of my favourites, Doris Day

Elsie(By Indigoblu) is lucky enough to have a warm fur collar on her coat and she is being sensible and wearing her hat too even though she is heading for the sunny side of the street.
We were out the other day and the difference was quite noticeable when we went from sun to shade!
My background is just a watercolour wash with some Crafty Individuals houses. I added some sun rays through a Tim Holtz stencil. The words at the bottom are from the house set and the title is computer generated.
I would also like to link to Moo Mania and More where the new theme is 'Make It Feminine'

Apologies if this song stays with you all day!

Next are my two calendar journal pages
October filled in...
..and November ready
Now for a few photos
These are the first two hotels we stayed at Carcassonne and Albi - both belong to the Ibis Styles group but very different in decor!
We forgot to take a photo of the outside of the hotel - this is the view from the window

Some of the art work looked as though we should have been supplied with 3D specs

We like Ibis Styles ….they provide free coffee and little treats all day …..
..and the beds are really, really comfortable….
they were in Albi too

We were on the fifth floor
There was a fountain just outside the hotel...
…that was lit up at night!
A good selection of drinks too
This made us smile - in the lobby of the hotel!

Thanks for looking, Chris

More great suggestions for how to stay warm - I love Elsie's fur collar, and the sunny side of the street is where I always try to be! Lovely page, as are your calendar spreads too. Looks like you managed to make sure even your hotels were full of art and inspiration!

Love how Elsie is staying warm and cozy. It's a beautiful page, but you don't have to worry. I won't be singing the song because it's not one I would remember. Sorry, I'll always be a hard rock fan. But I agree that both wind and sun have a huge effect on the ambient temperature you feel.

Your calendar pages put mine to SHAME. I think the colors are perfect for both months. You put SO much into your pages before you ever write a single word in them.

I really enjoyed seeing where you stayed and the views from your rooms and restaurants. What beautiful paces you find to stay, visit, and eat in. I'd love to follow you around for just one day!

With this fur collar on her coat and the fur hat too the lady would stay warm indeed! A beautiful page with warm colors!

She looks so cosy in her hat and scarf, definitely one of the hot tips on how to keep warm.
Thankfully I cannot bring to mind this song (although I'm sure I know it) so will just manage to escape the earworm.
Your hotel and surrounding area look wonderful. How funny about the blue and red art, it did look as if it needed 3D specs.

I love the lady in your art journal page Chris. I have never seen this Elsie stamp but she is a beauty and looks warm in her fur collar. And I also enjoyed your hotel photos. Those are very interesting decorations for sure. I thought at first it was a museum. Sounds like you not only saw some beautiful scenery but some interesting decorating too. Hugs-Erika
