Doodling again!

I am so pleased to get some cooler weather! I have spent some time in my craft room with a fan blowing trying to clear some of the things that build up around the edges - I had too watch for papers blowing though!
I did some doodling while we were away last week at our caravan and I finished it off today with a couple of additions….

….Rain man - cut at the WOYWW crop - I think it may have been Shaz's die (Thankyou)
The words are from a new Tracey Eason set - I outlined them as they didn't show up well against the background -should have used black ink instead of brown!

I am linking to Art Journal Journey for Rosie's Circles theme!

Have a great weekend and Thanks for looking, Chris

Rain Man is always a good choice and on your fabulous doodled background he looks very good! The words are super..
I found out for me that stamping words and often also motifs with other colours don't work for me either.
So I would a new stamper advice to just buy a black archival stamppad- and to not invest in too many coloured stamppads but- o.k. that's my personal preference only.
A wonderful page for Art Journal JOureny again dear CHris! Thanks a lot for all your ideas and support for us!
Happy weekend to you!
Heat here as well .. but good to handle inside since our house is pretty cool in summer with it's thick walls.

Gotta LOVE Mr. Umbrella Man. I'm surprised you didn't buy the die, but I guess it would get old after awhile. It was good you had access to it, though.

Your doodles are perfect. they are really adorable.

I have to agree with Susi. I use black Staz-on solvent ink for just about everything. If I want to add a bit of color to a stamp, I use my reinkers and a sponge. But I'm not a stamper, and you are, so I suspect you know what you are doing. I DID learn to outline letters from Dianne.
