Calendar ready!

Happy New Year everyone! I'm wishing that the year brings new hope for you!
I have made my January Calendar page in a new sketch book - a change from my usual make but still the same A4 size - used as a double spread.
I started by scribbling some Neocolours II water soluble crayons over the whole spread and blending with a water brush then stamping my lovely Crafty Individuals background stamp using different Distress Inks
Once I had added the month stamped with new TH sponge letters and the journal strips, I stamped Tracy Easson's gorgeous hares(I am really loving these at the moment) and then restamped, coloured and cut them out so that the features would show. I added some Carabelle Studio stars outlined in silver pen for them to look at!
Here is December all filled in - feel free to click on the photo to read!
I apologise for the poor lighting - it went very dark quite early today as it started raining! December was taken in what natural light was left and January with the aid of hubby's phone (again!)

I will be back later to join Bleubeard and Elizabeth for T Stands for Tuesday with a drink related post and a look back too!

Thanks for looking, Chris
