WOYWW 299

Whats on your workdesk today? Only asking, because Julia (here at the Stamping Ground blog), and a lot of other crafty folk around the World would be interested. Some manage to join in every week, I unfortunately have missed the last two weeks so I'm hoping to get around and have a peek at a few desks today!
We were going to the cinema - it's the last week for the 2 for 1 from the phone company but there's nothing we want to see this week.  It's not going to stop us going to see films though as the cinema has given us some vouchers to use! Yay!!If you want to see what we have seen recently I'll let you know at the bottom of the post.
So…the desk

I'm about to start something similar to something I've already posted - but it sparked an idea so I'll see!!(blogger won't let me move this text now!!!)

Here you see what happens under my desk - think I may need to clean up before I start today!

Cinema update -
Three weeks ago - 'Kingsman' - described as a spoof on spy films - however, despite some good actors I wasn't keen - very violent scenes - OTT - hubby liked it and to be fair there were some funny scenes!
Two weeks ago we went to see 'Jupiter Ascending' - quite a strange Sci-Fi film but a proper story, fabulous costumes and Eddie Redmayne!
Last week - with our son and grandchildren 'Shaun the Sheep', easily the best of the three, although I embarrassed my GS by laughing out loud when no one else did!! We all enjoyed it, even our 'heading for teenage' grandson! I must confess I have recorded quite a few episodes from CBBC - Shaun just makes me smile giggle roar with laughter!

Hoping to get around to visit a few desks this week!, Chris

You're not the only one with a messy floor this week.....mines covered with threads!

Your desk looks like it's waiting for you to come and play. The floor really isn't bad, if compared to mine....LOL

Love the movie updates. I am one that roars with laughter too, and I do love a good SIFi flick. Would be lovely to see one together....eh?

Thanks for the visit and comment you left on my blog.

My floor around the bin especially looked much, much worse on Monday :-) it seemed not only did I drop stuff around me but when I did use the bin I missed it every time lol. Anne x #28

Happy WOYWW. Your floor reminds me that I need to sort out the rubbish in the morning - Thursday is the big day for us here! I would love to see Shaun the Sheep. We have not been to the cinema for years. I buy DVDs occasionally and then never watch them either! Ali x #73

Shaun the Sheep rocks!! Lol. And don't worry about laughing at things that no-one else finds funny...I do that all the time :-)
And my craft room floor is covered with threads etc no matter how tidy I try to be....sigh.....

Love Shaun! Want to see the film when we get time.
Underneath your desk is tidy - sometimes it is awkward to clean up in a craft room - or so I tell myself when I notice the dust. Too much stuff to dust properly underneath everything.
Hugs, Neet (24) xx

Mmmm - the desk looks interesting. Have fun! The state under the desk is - oh SO encouraging. The landing floor here is frequently covered in paper poo - ie. the fiddly bits from die cuts which miss the waste bin when pushing them out!!!
SO glad you love Shaun - he is rather gorgeous, isn't he?
Take care. God bless.

I have to admit, I love Shaun, too! I reckon lots of things like that are written just as much for adults, but maybe I'm kidding myself, having never really grown up! Enjoy a great week at your lovely desk, Chris # 21

Your art space looks like a happy place to me.
I dropped the cap to a tube of paint the other day and for the life of me cannot find it :-)
I had to use a piece of foil for a make do cap.
Getting out to see movies on the big screen is always fun.
I am looking forward to the release of The Second Best Marigold Hotel this Friday.
Stopping by from T Stands for Tuesday today.

Looks pretty much like my desk except your under desk area looks pretty clean to me:) I'm not a fan of violence in movies so I too would have much preferred Shaun The Sheep too. I'd like to see Cinderella when it comes out. Happy T day!

Oh, I always enjoy a peek into someone's studio...and I'm a big fan of Lynn Perrella's designs! Lovely. made me smile with the pic of the floor. yes indeed. me too.

I agree with your Kingsmen evaluation. It did have funny bits, but all that blood and gore. Heads exploding. seriously? yuck. ...but Shaun the sheep!!! I adore him! now I need to figure out where that movie is showing...;)
