We have spent some time at our caravan, just relaxing mainly although we went into a blowy, rainy Morecambe...to buy a walking stick! Yes, I have finally listened to hubby's suggestion, that on 'bad' days with my knee, a walking stick would help! I found that Timpson's made a fourfold one so it would be small enough to fit into my bag when I don't need it! So far I haven't!
I have sorted out my scrap bags and taken out quite a few things that I know I will never use!
I also made a tag for Tag Tuesday - Birds,Nests and Eggs
I had a tag with some blue textured dots that I hadn't used and it seemed just right for an egg style background.
I added some TH papers that I cut up and a piece of paper with a button pic on, that I covered with a nest! I made some feathery marks on the Dina Wakley bird using a Derwent coloursoft pencil.
I drew in some leaves and coloured them with Inktense pencils and a waterbrush which I also used to add some brown around the edge of the tag.
I have also been adding some pages to one of my mini journals - I am playing along with Birgit Koopsen's Instagram challenge 'Everything Circles'
I used some pages with backgrounds already in my little notebook, along with some doodling, scraps, stickers, handmade tape and words.
Quite typically, just as we are heading home the weather is wonderful and we are dragging our heels a bit! we will leave soon!
Thanks for looking, Chris

"Be prepared" is always a good idea, and now you'll have the walking stick just in case :) Your scenic view would be hard to leave!

Personally, if I had that view, I might never leave.
Having fun seeing you and Alison creating those circles. They are so clever.
And then there's the tag. It is amazing. I LOVE the eggs. They look very realistic, too.

Oh Chris I will second what has already been said, I too would not want to leave that stunning view. Glad you have taken on board Hubbies advice, they can be a great aid walking sticks, treat it as your country walks stick ;) Lovely tag, that Dina bird is such a useful stamp. Tracey x
P.S Well done on having a craft bag clear out, I really need to do that!
Beautiful tags! I love the designs especially the little bird 😁. Good idea to get a walking stick, our friend has just got one too and finds he can walk longer distances when he uses it which is great! That's such a lovely view too, I can see why you spend time there it must be so peaceful. Sorry I'm so late visiting, it was my birthday on Wednesday and I've been celebrating with family and friends every day since so I haven't had much time for blogland lately, just need to catch up on everything now ...lol 😉. Creative wishes! J 😊 x
