T Stands for.....the late night!!!

Happy New Year everyone!!
We hadn't intended having a late night but when we had an invitation from one of our friends at the caravan site to attend a New Year party we decided that one night a year wouldn't harm!!!
We had a lovely time and got to meet up with other folk, some of whom we knew, and some we didn't!
Only thing is we didn't get to bed until nearly 2a.m. this morning zzzz!!!
I wanted to complete my calendar pages, which I started yesterday but   ...being half asleep, I cheerily wrote the month as December!
It is rescued now we are home
If you are reading this after 1st January the post will have been edited!(from a photo taken in artificial light!)

I used Crafty Individual stamps - Winter Garden CI425 and parts of my favourite Christmas wreath stamp CI 504

I would like to link this to Art Journal Journey where Alison(Craftytrog)Hall has chosen the great theme  - 'Geometric shapes', well, with squares aplenty here I am!!!

Here is the real December (2018)if you want to enlarge it!!

This was taken a recent shopping trip coffee break! At this point we had shopped for all items that did not require refrigeration!
I had an Americano while hubby had a hot chocolate, I stuck to my usual fruit scone while he had a very sweet looking mincemeat slice!

Sorry this is short (and sweet) but we only got home a little while ago and I didn't want to miss T Day!
I will have some photos of a trip we took to Sizergh Castle later in the week!

Thanks for looking, Chris

Happy New Year and T-day too!
We also celebrated new years eve, but we are very low keyed today. Celebrate one night and have to recuperate for two days LOL!

A spontaneous evening often is the best. Sounds like a good way to ring in the new year. And I guess a late night out is good for everyone every now and again. I fell asleep before midnight, so mine New Years wasn't exciting at all. Hope your have a great new year- and love the calendar too. Hugs-Erika

Happy New Year! It sounds like your unexpected celebratory outing was worth the loss of sleep. That fruit scone looks delicious! One of these days I'm going to find a recipe... Happy T Tuesday :)

Happy T and New Year!
So glad you were able to get out to a party-that is nice to do sometimes, especially if it is close by. Now you will need to catch up on some sleep.
Love your calender pages-writing the wrong month is something I would do for sure-hugs Kathy

Made me smile to see that I'm not the only one to write the wrong thing or the wrong date, or the wrong year! (there will be a lot of that in the next month I imagine!) A delightfully artful calendar, and exactly how I end up fixing things...collage over it! love the December pages too, so cute. Sounds like you had a lovely New year's eve party, I'm impressed that you were up until 2 am!! lol. Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! It sounds like you had a wonderful time at the party 😁. We went to friends too and today my sister came over so we walked on the beach, went for a drink at our local pub and came home to have our celebratory New Year's Day meal. It was the perfect start to the year 😀. Happy T Day and wishing you a Happy New Year filled with peace, love and happiness! J 😊 x

I am so sorry I'm late visiting. I must have "partied" too hard last night, because I couldn't stay awake today. Just have not felt myself.

Your calendar is still lovely, and sometimes we have to rework our pages (grin). I'm so glad you shared this with us and your December pages, too. Thanks for sharing them at Art Journal Journey, as well.

I really want one of those scones. It looks delicious. Of course, I would gladly take a mincemeat slice, too. I'll even join you with an Americano. Thanks for sharing these with us for T this Tuesday (it's still Tuesday in my world, dear).

Happy New Year to you and Tony and the whole lovely family dear Chris!
And happy T-Day!!!!
Last year we got older but we had a good time. Let’s make sure we do the same in this New Year, lol!
Your calender for January is so pretty and I love to see your filled December spread... I adore your tiny handwritig! Superb!
All the best my dear friend and thank you very much for all the fantastic art and photos and impressions of beautiful places you always share with us here on your blog! You know it is one of my favourite blogs!
Thank you for all the support for AJJ!
Super clever with the theme and the calendars... if I would create such an arty one I would do my whole months this January and had 12 entries for AJJ..
But I always stop with the project, I tried it last year and stopped already after February...so I decided to not begin one more try...lol.
Thank you for such a quick first entry despite the celebration jet lag-lol!

Hugs, Susi

I love the background colors you chose for the calendar pages. Your tea break is making me hungry as I have not had breakfast yet. Here's to a Happy, Healthy, and Creative New Year. You're off to a great start.

Happy New Year Chris. I have always wanted to do one of those calendar pages and you have spurred e on - what better time to start than the beginning of a year. Just need to get a bit of peace with my back and I will be off.
Love how you decorated yours - easy mistake with the month I imagine - love those stamps you used.
Think I would have gone down the mincemeat road too.
Hugs, Neet xx
