WOYWW 383 Port Sunny!!

Oooh! What do you want to see? Well, my desk is a rather obvious choice as I am here to join lovely Julia at The Stamping Ground for What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday, but what about some photos of deskers and the Happy Stampers event Port Sunlight or how about what I bought - you choose!
Or…of course I can show you all three!!
My desk at 10.00 this morning
Please try not to allow your eye to be drawn to my overflowing scraps box at the back of my desk - instead focus on the page I started yesterday, left as it was before we went off to the cinema and then on to greet my granddaughter home from school. I hope to finish this later today.
Of course Port Sunlight is my favourite place to attend a craft show - Helen has some fabulous photos of Port sunlight village as well as  photos of the show on her blog.
It was great to meet up with Helen, Shaz(and Doug), Neet and there's   my friend Sarah too!
Neet was chatting…..visit her blog to see who she met!
I did get her attention eventually! There's Mr Paper Artsy in the background - I think he had a busy day
Keren Baker using some fun stamps at the Paper Artsy stand
Alison(craftytrog)doing also doing a great demo for Paper Artsy with stencils etc. Fascinating to watch!
Helen being tempted…again????

Leandra showing how to do something amazing with a  Donna Downey heart stencil. We did move away from the Paper Artsy stand…. sometimes….!

I did buy the heart stencil too but it was too big to show here.

A very quick film review…
We went to see Deepwater Horizon - a true story about the BP oil disaster in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010!
Mark Wahlberg starred in and was a producer of the film. We both really enjoyed it  - obviously full of suspense because of course we knew the eventual outcome! A well filmed and sensitive film in the way it was made and would definitely recommend it!

I'll be round to visit as soon as I can!

Thanks for looking, Chris

So glad you shared your take on Port Sunlight. I saw Helen's blog and photos, and it was great to see your photos, too. You got a real haul. I have stencil envy, but I guess it's because I have so few and want every one I see.

I saw the previews to Deepwater Horizon when Sally and I went to see Sully. It really looked interesting.

I think when I just had to have that heart stencil it kicked off a frenzy of buying. Didn't know you had bought it but I do remember four other people buying it straight after I waxed lyrical about it. Just hope I can do justice with it now.
It was lovely, as always, to see you. You always have a lovely smile and are so caring of others, it really is a pleasure to be in your company.
Hope you are planning a nice trip somewhere in the next few days. Enjoy yourself as what you do.
Hugs, Neet 6 xx

Its so awesome you get to see so many friends at a stamp show! Looks like you had a ball! Love the stash you brought home, and that heart stencil intrigues me. Thanks for the review; I'm hoping to see it next weekend and was hoping it would be as good as the previews hint. Have a great week.

I'm so completely jealous of all you girls that got to go to the show and meet one another or catch up! That would just be the bees knees to me! And for the record......why would you EVER leave the PaperArtsy booth????? LOLOL No disrespect to the others, and I'm sure I would have visited, but I would have camped at the PaperArtsy booth! LOLOL Thanks for sharing your pix of the fun time! Blessings Felicia, #39

Hiya Chris - I have so enjoyed seeing the pics from the Happy Stampers show, they are so lovely of everyone and a great reminder of the power of Interweb friendships. You're looking great btw! We are looking forward to seeing you at the crop!!

Oh, I love that page that's on your desk. It's so subtle and dreamy. It definitely looks like y'all had a great time, and you got some really cool supplies as well.
Thanks for the movie recommendation. We're still trying to decide if we want to see it. It just hits a little close to home as we live on the Alabama Gulf Coast. I even lost my job because of the lack of tourism in the area after the oil spill. We still have tar balls in the sand. However, I do like that it looks like the movie is from the human perspective, and not the corporate one. And, I do love me some Marky Mark ;)
Thanks again!

What lovely photos of what looked to be a fab day out. I love your beautiful page in the first photo - so autumnal and delicate - it would be a gorgeous design for a fabric.
Thanks so much for stopping by my desk and apologies I'm so late getting round this week.
Have a good week,
