Leftovers at Try It On Tuesday

No Doggy bag required for our new challenge at Try It On Tuesday, which is 'Use Your Leftovers'! We want you to raid your desk(or one of those boxes that you may have where you hang on to the bits that may be useful one day!)and make us something with your leftovers.
The Design Team have been busy and have come up with some fabulous projects so do take a look here!

I have made a journal page using up part of my mountain!!

You may have seen my card for Simon Says Stamp yesterday - these were left over and still on my desk
I looked in just one of my boxes and found these - part of a card I used on Valerie's tip in pages, some bird/music paper and part of a printed sheet with bits cut off it. There is heart there too but I must have covered it up - it was intended for invitations for my son's wedding two years ago but they changed their minds and made their own - leaving me with a few cards to cut up!!
At the back of my desk the stamps were still there from another page in my journal!
I also had a piece of mop up kitchen towel that I had added to a page.
I added some stamping and some transparent 3D Gloss Gel through a stencil and then added lines by 'stamping' paint with a faux credit card.
The words were stamped onto part of the test sheet I used for my card…
…and then cut up into smaller pieces and inked around the edges - I used a water brush to spread the ink a little.
It was then just a case of deciding how to arrange my leftovers...
The sequins weren't used on my card but I had tipped them out ready to use and changed my mind. I punched a small piece of the Gemstone Core'Dinations to add to the edge of the image.
I added some gold paint and some stamped triangles to go with the gold circle that unfortunately didn't photograph well!

I do hope you will join us - the challenge is open for two weeks - and you may create more space on your desk!!

I seem have done a fair bit of dashing about lately(last month's calendar page is here) but I am hoping that August allows us
to slow down bit!

Thanks for looking, Chris

I love how you made use of your left over bits and bobs to create your really lovely journal page. Thanks for following Chris and the lovely comments recently. (for some reason when I checked I think I was following you anonymously? I've changed that but my owl icon still not showing).
BTW you've got me interested in Eleanor of A too - the current issue of BBC History magazine has a 5 page article on her and I was reading that and Googling bits at the same time :)
