Strong woman!

Just a quick journal page - using my new Paper Artsy Lynne Perella set LPCO31.
I loved this stamp from the first time I saw it.
This is how the page started, using Jenni Bowlin paints(the colours have the most beautiful names) really creamy and react well with a spritz of water!
From here it was a case of stencils, stamps and doodles with part of a lattice die cut and some packaging from some new coffee cups.I stamped text over and over itself to make a pattern rather than to read the text.
The image was coloured in using Distress markers apart from the ruff - white Signo uni-ball
Lettering was done with good old medium Pitt pen.

We are back home now for a while so hoping to catch up a bit!!

Thanks for looking,Chris

Beautiful page Chris, some wonderful colours and techniques. You could enter this into our Mixed Media World challenge it would fit right in.

Speaking of catching up, I think I'm FINALLY caught up. I can't believe how far behind I got. That's not to say it won't happen again, since I'm still working on that AB. You put so much into your pages. This one is no exception. I see layers and layers and layers to this, and then you added the focal image. What a beauty and a great journal page! BTW, have I mentioned I have stencil envy (grin)?

Just saw your comment about the bulbs. The dark green foliage is for Naked Ladies or Surprise Lilies. They are called both, but I don't know their botanical name. The foliage dies out in a few weeks, then the flowers appear in late summer. They are on a single stalk and have one or more lilies on each stalk. Hope that helps, because you'll have to wait awhile before these flowers appear (grin).
