The rules for March were
1.. Keep a part of the original picture and incorporate that into your design
2, Technique - use a candle or wax crayon as a resist
3. Add a title, using letters or words cut from a magazine/leaflet in a ransom style.

The butterflies were all on a green background within a frame -I used Paper Artsy Frescos - Yellow Submarine, Autumn Fire and one of the blues, forget which one as this was done a while ago!
I dabbed them on with a screwed up piece of paper towel.
I'm off now to photograph the April before I start messing!

I get that sometimes too Chris, I wish I could offer you a way to change it but I am ever so slightly technically challenged!
Your calendar page looks wonderful, the challenge sounds great, especially as it is just for fun too! Hugs, Anne xx
Had a thought Chris, if you go in and edit your blog post, look at the buttons at the top, there is one on the far right side, it looks like a T - it is the Formatting button. Just click on that and then save it and see if it takes it away.... hope it works! A xx
Oh looks great, i like the bold colours and just the bits of the butterflies showing through the stripes is really cool
You make ALL your calendars look so gorgeous. I'm really impressed with the way you altered the butterflies in a frame. I would never have known had you not explained it. I really like the energy you got from the colors and the way you manipulated the foreground. Great job.
Great calendar page, I love the colours you chose for the background and keeping in those beautiful butterflies xx
Gorgeous Chris! Love the contrasting vibrant colours and the wonderful butterfly! So perfect for an almost spring time page! hugs :)
Ooh, yum - love how you've blended those colours - a great page.
I know what you need to do to get rid of the highlighting - but it involves editing the HTML code on your blogpost. Would take forever to type it out, but I'm around this weekend if you want me to talk you through it... I think you still have my mobile number?
