WOYWW 303

I know I say this often but the weeks are flashing by!Julia provides the links to desks all over the world via her Stamping Ground blog and it is our duty to show all!!
Here is my desk, taken on Tuesday evening in fading light! Nothing exciting that I can show you…two little secrets on the go…but you can see that I am being quite tidy!
Of course there is is always this view too...
…the goodies I bought at Art from the Heart after the Dina Wakley workshop on Saturday(it would have been rude not to!!),
and this…..

...a belated birthday present from my friend Sarah!

We both had a great day and it was so good to have time to catch up each other's news on the journey!

Cinema report - may be the last one for a while unless the cinema give us more vouchers - the phone company has stopped doing the buy one get one free offer and we have had our last few visits courtesy of the vouchers - two for £10
Last weeks film - Suite Francaise was enjoyable, although quite sad! A love story with a twist!

Hoping to visit later today! Chris

Too much stash on show this week! It is making me want to shop. I love Dina's work and she is one of about three people I yearn to take a workshop with but never seem to be able to when they are in the UK.

I get the cinema thing. Blimey. We took DD to see Big Hero at the Imax in London and I swear we could have had a cheap weekend away for what it cost us. :) But even our local cinema is pretty expensive.

Happy WOYWW day!

You have no idea how much this makes me want to come play with you. Inky fingers, paper messes and just pure fun and creativity. I have to get out and make a card for my granddaughter today. She is having her 9th birthday:)
Have a fun week and keep inspiring.

I don't blame you if you call a halt to the cinema visits, I was horrified when someone told me how much it costs!
Great goodies you bought (you will love the Finn stamp!) can't wait to see them put to ink! Got a fair few new ones of my own to do the same with! Helen 3

Wow Chris, that is a great haul you got at AFTH! I really want one of the Finn stamp sets.... sigh. Love your birthday gift too and yes, it would have been rude not to buy something, or even a few things.... lol. Hugs, Anne xxx

Hi Chris. I'm in neat-desk envy at the moment - mine is in chaos - the problem with trying to do about 6 things all at the same time!! Oh well - I'm sure I'll get around to tidying eventually....
Thanks for visiting - yes - John spotted those bird stamps and practically twisted my arm to buy them!
Take care. God bless.

Oh, those goodies are tempting me to shop! No, no, ....I must resist! I'm trying so hard this year to use up all that I already have. Boy, that's gonna be a challenge. *hugs* Jen (My Scrap Menagerie #72)

I want to see that film. Got a thing about that type of war film at the moment - but our cinema is not showing it any more (at least I don't think so). DVD's are only around the £10 mark now so may wait for it to appear in the supermarket.
Glad you enjoyed the class with Dina.
Hugs and thanks for earlier visit, Neet xx
ps have been busy with visitors so I am very late, sorry

You got a LOT of great goodies, and a wonderful gift from your friend, too. I see you already used one the stamps she gave you for your belated birthday gift. BTW, I have stencil envy!

Now I know why I haven't been to a movie in about 12 years (grin).
