Double Dreaming in black and white!

One of my favourite challenge blogs is Dragon's Dream TIO ! At the beginning of the year they started to use colour as one of the main ingredients - this time it is 'White…and a number'! I really did find this a challenge and could not think of ANYTHING - totally blank! Then I saw the birds on the fence at our caravan and knew straight away what to do!
Made a couple of cloud masks by tearing some card and then used Stormy Sky Distress ink and some splashing of water to make the sky.
The brick wall was some card run through an embossing folder and rubbed over with Aged Mahogany DI.
The birds are (I think) Lost Coast Design - stamped the feet onto the wall and cut out the birds! Drew on some graffiti including names for the birds and the number 2!
This represents the rhyme that my Grandad used to baffle me with because he used to use two scraps of newspaper to represent the birds and could make them disappear and reappear!
I hope this makes you smile!

Thanks for looking, Chris

I thought it was clever how you stamped the birds' feet. Great way to make sure they are in the right spot. This is a great tag. You put SO much effort into yours.

No Chris, you are right. In the real scheme of hours, I am toward the END of the day. You are six hours (normally) AHEAD of me. So, when it's midnight at your place, it's 6 pm at mine. Yes, I post every MONDAY at 4 pm MY TIME, because it is already Tuesday in places like Australia and Russia. By the time it's 6 pm Monday at my place, it is already Tuesday (normally) at your place. I say NORMALLY, because we have already changed to daylight savings time, and I understand you don't for a week or so from now. That means this week, you are only FIVE hours ahead of me. Hope that doesn't confuse you. That's one of the reasons I keep clocks on my right sidebar.

Ingenious ideas, Chris! I love Lost Coast stamps. I remember that game from when I was a little girl too and the bafflement when those pieces of paper disappeared! The tag is terrific - so realistic and inspiring too! Such a clever twist with that graffiti! Thank You for dreaming with the Dragons. xxx

It does make me smile. I love those clever texty birds. And how modern that they perch upon a graffitied wall. At least that's how our city looks. Cleverly made clouds too. Great tag!

Such a great tag design - graffiti on the wall, gorgeous inky sky, and Peter and Paul are fabulous! Used to baffle my niece and nephew for hours with them flying away and back again!
