Christmas is coming!!!!There's some evidence on my desk, which I'm showing you of course, courtesy of Julia at the Stamping Ground!
Trying to keep it simple - a lovely image from House of Zandra that I bought at a show (it's a stand I always have to buy from!!)
Just tried out these stamped onto a watercolored background.
I have already tried stamping and water colouring to make a couple -
I'll add some more colour to the ones on my desk and make them up before I decide which to go with….
Off to see 'Fury' today with Brad Pitt so will be back later to visit!
We had a bonus last week, there was nothing on Wednesday we wanted to see but we had points on our Odeon card allowing us to see 'Turner' for free on Friday! What a brilliant film it was - it was over 2 hours long but the time just whizzed - a fascinating portrayal by Timothy Spall and a lovely trip into British art history.
If you want to see what happened with the Hougie board and lace it's here
Thanks for looking, Chris

Great stamp Chris! I love your water coloured backgrounds too! I am so behind on my movie watching, make sure you let me know how "Fury" is, I love me a little Brad Pitt now and again! Have fun, big hugs :)
Hi Chris, I'm taking great care to scan you pic very closely, it's full of such wonderful goodies, look at all your distress inks coloured up - love it! I never got round to doing that with mine. And.... that pile of stencils, mmm, drool :) xx
Oh you lucky thing - I rarely go to the cinema these days (so expensive with a big family) but Turner is one I'd love to see on the big screen. Am trying to convince the OH we need a date night ;)
Your watercoloured Christmas cards are just lovely and so different.

Really love the image on these cards and live how you've finished them too. We have tickets to go to the cinema so need to check out what's on...it's been ages since we went.
Hugs,

I have seen some of the publicity about Turner and it does sound a great film, and already winning awards. Hope seeing the film with Brad Pitt today was fun - oh sorry, is that not what you meant? lol!! Great desk, glad you got time to post it. Don't know House of Zandra though.. wonder how that happened! Ooh, I love House of Zandra! I discovered it last September at Ally Pally and I just had to invest in some of their gorgeous paper! I love this image and what you've done with it! Loving the water-colour effect. So glad you enjoyed Turner. I really like Tim Spall. I do hope we can get to see it. We're out tomorrow night with a friend coming to stay from Belgium. Going to really have to make an effort and set some time aside for this one! xxx
The finished box is absolutely lovely! Your desk looks a very happy, Christmassy place to be at the moment, with some beautiful cards appearing. Hope you enjoyed Fury, and glad Turner was such a treat. Happy crafting, Chris # 7

These are both beautiful cards. I really like them both.
Lovely stamp that. I hadn't seen that one.
I looked at your Hougie blog. Beautiful box! All that lace and distressing etc. I like it. I know someone who would call this a 'Yere tiz' box.
Thanks for letting me look over your shoulder,
Have a good week,
Sorry I’m late but I take my time going through them all. (I enjoy reading all the blogs and look at the photos)
