WOYWW 270

It's that time of the week again - WOYWW - see Julia's blog here to find how to join in.
I'm posting now (just past midnight) as our youngest grandson is arriving in the morning and then we are off to pick up our eldest grandson and we are off to the cinema followed by two days of 'fun' at the caravan!! Hoping it doesn't rain too much!!!
So, what's on my desk?
As you can see the stamps are definitely about to be mounted! Doesn't it look tidy?!
Okay I confess - see that little box to the right, balanced on the edge of my big shot, well….
having had a play today I couldn't face putting all the bits and pieces away, so just scooped them all up into this cute box that I bought with a view to altering! This may be the only altering it gets for a while!!!
Oh! The two strips of paper one is smooth card the other is water colour paper - I wanted to see the effect of different inks and pens.
So that's me for bed, I'll link up in the morning. I hope I do better at visiting this week - we had the very worst weather which seemed to affect reception on my phone - I'll be back Friday so I promise I'll do my best!

Thanks for looking, Chris

You are good, I never bother to mount my stamps - far too lazy! Hope you have fun at the caravan though I think you might be in for a little rain! Happy Wednesday, Cindy #36

OOh I seriously need to sort all my stamps out! I started off with good intentions and bought a file but most of them are thrown into one of my drawers! Still I know where they are, just forget what stamps I've got! have fun in the caravan!

Love the cute little box and what a good use for it.
Have a great time with your Grandsons, hope the weather for your holiday is better than our caravan holiday in Hastings with our Grandsons, cold rainy and muddy, not what you want when they've flown in from California

Hi, Chris! Blogger had some sort of "fit" earlier when I tried to comment -- let's try again! I hope you have good weather for your outings with your grandsons. The heart box is pretty . . . and helpful for clearing the decks when needed, too! Happy WOYWW! ~ Laura #60

I'm loving your 'scoop' box, how cute, perhaps you should alter it but just use it as you are?! Only trouble is you got to empty it at some point!! Take care Zo xx 57

Sounds like you have fun days ahead with the boys... enjoy! I have a 'box' like yours too, well - it looks different but I mean a box to use to put in little stuff that's laying around and that I cannot throw away and don't know where to store... I try to keep it to only one box, ha! Thanks for stopping by my blog the other day and happy woyww (well, 'thursday' already overhere) and hug from Holland, Marit #56

I have an old coffee time I put my little scraps in, like yours better! I started mounting my stamps in a binder but not fond of it and haven't come up with a better solution. Diane #52

Lolled at the 'altering'. Thats about as much as gets done here too- fill it with 'stuff'! Stamp mounting- given up on that now, just go with bare rubber. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #17 xxx

Hmm... can't tell you how many little boxes I have sitting around with "scooped up for now" bits sitting in them! I keep meaning to set myself the challenge of taking a box and making something with all the contents... Yours is a much prettier box though - mine are mostly just cardboard!
