T Stands For...Taking a Break

Hi everyone, after today's post I am taking a blog break. I know  a few of you will think that I am already on a blog break and I do apologise for not visiting. Hopefully after a break I will be able to get back to some sort of normality.

Last Thursday we met up with middle son and two of our grandchildren for a visit to RHS Bridgewater a recovered site that was part of Worsley New Hall. My son had, in the past, used a path that is now part of the site so he was particularly interested in what had been done.

As I am short of time I will let the pictures do the talking - please feel free to follow this link to get virtual tours and other info.

We had lunch by this new man made lake

They left me behind!

The woodland and the natural lake close to where the hall stood is just as beautiful as the formal gardens.
The family had to leave but hubby and I headed back to the cafe - especially so that we could join Bleubeard and Elzabeth for T Stands For Tuesday

One last look at somewhere we will be visiting quite a lot I think.

Thanks for looking, Chris

What absolutely incredible sights at Worsley New Hall. Your photos are amazing and beautiful. I especially liked the architecture mixed in with the awesome plants and flowers.

Was that scones and jam you had with your coffee? Even clotted cream? Thanks for sharing photos from Worsley New Hall, along with your scones and coffee with us for T this Tuesday. dear friend. Enjoy your time away, dear.

Is that a scone you had with your T? It looks yummy. And this is another pretty garden. I really like the reflecting pool next to the greenhouses. And there are lots of flowers still blooming nicely too. Around here things are looking a bit tired in most places. I hope you had a happy T and have a nice break. Hugs-Erika

I'm sorry I'm late again in commenting. Tuesday is a day we usually are away from home and as Blogger doesn't like iPhones or iPads, I cannot do anything until I get back home to my desktop. Sometimes this is quite late, so here I am on Wednesday...
What a beautiful place! I can well imagine that you wil want to visit again!
Your scones, jam and cream made my mouth water.
Happy belated T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca

I've seen some fabulous footage of RHS Bridgewater of TV, I'd really love to visit. You've captured many beautiful things from your visit Chris.
You take care of yourself, it's not an easy thing to keep up with blogger, busy lives and now the ability to see family. It does us all good to take a back step & recharge. Stay safe Hugs Tracey x
