Hi everyone! It's time for a final round up of our visit to Prague!
I may well come back with the odd pic or two in the New Year but for now here are just a few of the interesting sights we saw!
First some people...
I have no idea what these folk were dressed up for!
These guys were on a traveling pub and the next two photos are of some filming we saw taking place on our last morning!
Group of people in suits ran through the area while being filmed and once it was declared a wrap all the extras sitting on the chairs walked off down the road!!! We are hoping it is the new Spiderman film!
This is Kosmik Kate - a spray can artist creating the most amazing scenes with her stencils
Now some more artwork...starting with the rotating head!
We spent some time here! I hope you can see hubby's video!
We saw these installations at Wenceslas Square
Not forgetting of course one of the statues on Charles Bridge
There were some lovely things in shop windows too
This craft shop wasn't far from our hotel!

This was in the square near the hotel where we had lunch, just down the road from the hotel!
Hubby was happy with his panini but mine was nothing like it read on the menu!!
I wished I could go back into town for one of these!
We had Trdelnik from this stand on our first day! Delicious!
One of the best things about Prague was the amazing architecture.
So...what was I referring to in my blog title?
This - the Astrological clock - was being repaired...there's always next time....
I hope you have enjoyed seeing our visits to Budapest, Vienna and Prague! We're thinking about next year now! I wonder if you will guess where we might go?
I still have some photos that may pop up from time to time but for now....that's all folks!!!

How beautiful Prague is!!! My very favorite is the architecture too, although my, those pastries and such look so tempting. Loved seeing the window shops with all the craft work too. Happy T day!
I always tell my hubby that we need to travel after reading your posts. I am looking forward to visiting some of the places that you have shown. As always, the architecture is amazing and the food looks SO yummy! I can only read English so I would be completely lost when it comes to reading menus. Those window displays are beautiful but the one with the vases was my favorite. So glad you shared Prague with us, Chris.

More fun photos from your trip. That would be cool if they were filming Spiderman and you got to see a few moments from the film. I once watched them filing a bit of a movie near us and when they put it into the film it was so short we almost missed it. I love all the statue art too, as well that art store window. I have loved my trip with you to Prague - such wonderful photos you've shared! I couldn't get the video to play though... they do film a lot in Prague don't they, so it would be great to spot the scenes on a film

Such amazing things you saw in Prague Chris. Your hubby seems to always choose the right things from a menu and looks so happy with what he eats and drinks.
The 'beer bike' with have me laughing all day-I would rather have a coffee and tea bike but everyone to their own taste I reckon.

Oh I do like armchair traveling! The real thing is obviously better, but who knows, we might go there ourselves oneday.
The architecture is certainly stunning. I love beautiful buildings, old or modern. The last picture of a building looks like it is covered in wedgewood figures. (are they called Jasper?)
I've never heard of Trdelnik (unpronouncible!), but they look absolutely delish! Mine would be with ice cream because I don't think I can stomach such a huge horn full of Nutella.
Your meal looks nice but if it is not what you expected, then a bit of a disappointment. It looks like sauerkraut with a bucketful of mustard, chorizo and butter baked potatoes. I get indigenstion just looking at it.
The shop windows are lovely, and I loved those sculptures/installations. The turning head is fascinating. The video didn't work but I saw it somewhere else on the internet.It represents the head of Kafka (Franz kafka, the writer). And you probably know that the maker of this art work (Czerny) has made a similar one that stands in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The traveling pub made me smile (and thirsty),

Another great post of your trip and final visit to Prague. You are so lucky to travel like that. And you two seem so happy that you get to travel abroad and not have to deal with border crossings. Here in the states, it is getting harder and harder to travel outside the U.S. That's because of our "lovely" (NOT) President. He not only wants a fence to keep people out, he wants to keep us in, too.
I loved the sculptures and the architecture. They were breathtaking and enjoyable to see, dear Chris.
Sorry your meal wasn't what you hoped for, but at least T looked happy. Thanks for sharing your food and drinks with us for T this Tuesday. I have never heard of Trdelnik, but they look decadent.
BTW, you are the only person I e-mailed about your gift. I'm SO sorry it will be late this year. Hope you'll stop by my blog tomorrow, dear.
I forgot to mention. When I first saw those people in the first photo, I thought of Good King Wenceslas. Then when I saw the installations at Wenceslas Square, I put the two together and probably came up with five (grin).
Such a beautiful city. The architecture is amazing, but I was most charmed with the kitty statue and the shop with the colorful clocks and mugs. Happy T Day
Oh dear - shame about the clock, but you got lucky with those fabulous sculpture installations at the Vaclav Namesti (okay, showing off now!). You've captured some of my favourite buildings in your architecture round up, but I couldn't get the head video to work. Not to worry - I think it might make me feel a little queasy!

Cute photo of people dressed a royalty and in centuries old costume - surrounded by tourists in shorts with cameras. It struck me funny. So did the traveling pub. What a hoot!
