T Stands for….. Thanks

The first thing I would like to say today is Thanks…. to everyone for their kind comments recently!
I need to follow this up with an apology though, as I am having difficulty getting round to as many blogs as I would like!
I would also like to remind you that there is still a week left at Try It On Tuesday for our 'Spots, Dots and Splashes' theme.
I used a magazine freebie stamp on top of my block print and I only coloured part of the image.

Of course, the main reason I am here is to join Bluebeard and Elizabeth for T Stands for Tuesday over at The Altered Book Lover.

Before we went away we went to the cinema with one of my sons and our grandchildren to see the Jungle Book, which we all enjoyed (even the reluctant 14 year old!)
We had lunch at the appropriately named 'Giraffe' first.

I chose an all day veggie breakfast - which was delicious.
with water...
…followed by a coffee…

They forgot to bring my GD's drink until halfway through her meal so the waitress gave her a set of plastic giraffes (instead of the usual one!)
We did manage to get some gardening done last week at our caravan but the hedge bottom is overgrown with Ivy which is creeping slowly towards the plants, the grass is growing in the other direction so lots of pulling and tugging required.
We took a lot of rubbish to the local tip and enjoy seeing each year what the guys there rescue…

The garden is not looking too bad though!

As you can see - there's still a lot to do!
I like the view over the wall into the farmhouse garden next door.
We saw some lovely sunsets too..

Hoping to get around more this week while we are home, although one or two matters to deal with and hubby is planning another cinema visit to see the new X Men film tomorrow!

Thanks for looking, Chris

That's a beautiful card and I think it is perfect for the recent TioT challenge.

Oh wow! The giraffes. Love them.

The garden actually looks quite good, and your sky shots are incredible. But of course, the giraffes are the icing on the cake. Are those mushrooms on your breakfast plate?

Thanks for sharing your adorable card, your GD's giraffes, and your breakfast food and water with us for T this Tuesday. and sometimes no matter how hard we try, there's simply not enough time to catch up.

Oh my gosh! I remember as a kid my parents had plastic giraffe stir sticks like those in the liquor cabinet. I'd take them out and play with them! Thanks for the fun memory.
Love the card as well!

Your garden is much work keeping the wild things at bay isn't it. AND with all that you and Tony get into I don't know how you manage. Such pretty views in your neck of the woods.
Speaking of "neck" such a fun restaurant and theme/mascot.
Such a nice card too.
Happy T day to you dear Chris oxo
p.s. your veggie breakfast would have been my choice as well YUM!

Beautiful card, love the colours.
Always vegetarian for me! I became a vegetarian at the age of 16, never once wavered - my family thought it would only be a phase but that's been a heck of a long phase ... nearly 32 years lol.
Wasn't that kind of the waitress!
Chris, your garden is beautiful.

Your make is so gorgeous and I absolutely adore your color combination! So stunning!!

I always enjoy your pictures - we have a small yard with some flowers and statuary. As I love old grave yards, I am afraid my statuary would certainly remind one of a grave yard. I will have to do a post about our garden. I do so enjoy seeing all by British friends and their pictures!!
