The leaves here are already starting to change colour and if this weather keeps up hopefully it will be a slow process to enjoy and appreciate the changes!
My page is about those first changes, nothing too intense at the moment but enough of a warning that Winter is on it's way!
Art Journal Journey have a new challenge Indian Summer, Golden October, Autumn and I have been looking forward to making an entry for it
I started this page with a coating of gesso. I used a PA leaf stencil and spritzed with some Sunset Beach Infusions - as you can see it ran a bit but I don't mind that! I added various inks and some paint with a baby wipe once the Infusions had dried.
I stamped my new Paper Artsy Eclectica Lin Brown 29 and 30 leaves and outlined the stencilled leaves with ink and added veins with a brown watercolour pencil!
I flicked some drops of water over and dabbed it off straight away to lift the ink
I used two stamps from the Paper Artsy Lin Brown Eclectica 29 set and stamped the oats twice.The Enjoy life is from Stampendous set

I think the page is great, but I am finding the text colour hard to read on your change of background colour. the colours at Kew today definitely support your theory by the way!
